why does an electrician need a $150 hammer ?

It was $25 from home depot. It's just a Milwaukee framing hammer, nothing special.

My Dear Mr. Singing Club = Mein lieber Herr Gesangsverein, (as we say here in Germany), is a funny saying, if someone really screws up! I must dissapoint you @Herbert Perez : The Wera VDE-Screwdrivers are MAGNETIC at the Tip! I have no idea, where you got that information from, but I doubt, you have ever worked with them. If I read between the lines of your comment, you are obviously biased. Or, am I wrong? I do read, you prefer the Milwaukee ones, because they are magnetic tip. Nothing wrong with it and you may prefer the Milwaukke Drivers. But, you are not writting the truth about the Wera Screw-Drivers. Nearly all of the Screw-Drivers by Wera, even the non VDE-Drivers, possess a Magnetic-Tip. Feel free to contact Wera, at their Customer-Service and ask for that Information, if you don`t believe me? You may also google that! The net is full of links, about that. ;-) That way, you avoid, being caught, un-insulated and stripped, by your own comment, as a partial-fool. ;-) To all others, who gave you are Heart, or a Thumb up to it, refer may to the previous sentence. :-) The truth is, it is hardly possible, to get any non-magnetic Screwdrivers at all in the present days, who are non-magnetic at the Tip, unless the Manufacturs announce and advertise with it, in favour of that. Therefore, you will not destroy certain Parts, or the Voltage, inside an Electric-Circuit, who will be damaged by the Magnetic-Tip! But note the exception now: In case, you have ever worked with a Wera-Screwdriver that was probably demagnetized, with a device, which does/did so and was done then, I must excuse my former lines and I might be the fool. But only then! Since one year, no one noticed that at all, I see here. Means since one year, others may have been influenced by your false comment. ? Also note: My comment was not ment to insult anyone, so please, don`t take it personal. I am not perfect and I am a fool myself sometimes, too. No one is perfect and leaning from mistakes, makes us all better. This is my objective point of view here. One can run around this World for one year, or even longer and still make a mistake, unless one learns from its faults and finally reaches another level of understanding. This may lift you up to this next level. :-) Stay save and protect yourself!

My Milwaukee are only for destrective uses as I deal with stainless. My Weras are absolutely my go toos. I can put a stainless screw on the tip of a Wera, twist a bit and it is held by the lazer tip.

Non contact to double check power is off. Flat head to take off cover plate. Philips to take out the receptacle. Cutting tool to cut wire from receptacle. Stripper to strip back and expose fresh wire and then make pig tail. Lineman to pre twist. Wire nut to make connection to your pig tail. Needle nose or wire stripper to make Shepard a hook. ECX to tighten screws. Outlet tester to double check everything is correct. That’s just one outlet replacement when conditions are perfect.

Can you not move the hammer holster by pulling the belt itself back through those 2 straps that are in the way?
@TheShoeStop4 жыл бұрын
You could do that but I wear suspenders with the belt and If the straps are covered by the hammer loop and tape pouch the suspenders can't attach to the belt. I ended up just clipping the tape to the belt itself.
