  Quit putting out misleading information already! Every EV owner I know is NOT worried about their BEV catching fire. I would way rather have a battery under my seat than a tank full of explosive liquid thank you!

  It is a fact that gas burning vehicles have more than 8 times the rate of vehicle fires that BEVs do. Since Chevy recalled all the Bolts with defective pouch cells, BEV battery fires have dropped to near zero. Check your facts before you post a FUD hit-piece like this.

I know the Govt's are blocking as many Negative Fire incidents as they can therefor the stats are way down.   Wow, what a lot to unpack. Many good points here. GM'S failure to execute has reaped huge sales losses. People can not wait forever for product. My February 2022 Silverado EV reservation is nowhere in sight. I had to buy another ICE Silverado last October because I needed a truck and couldn't wait anymore. At a recent visit to my dealership I found several Lyrics and Blazers in stock. They had 3 Silverado EV work trucks which were sold orders. The fit and finish on those trucks was so bad it rivaled Tesla. GM has missed the market again. When customers have to go and buy something else, they can't come back to buy that EV. When product finally gets to the lots, customers have moved on. GM is in grave jeopardy. They handed their market to Toyota by discontinuing all passenger car lines.

  People got smart with their money. We’re not stupid. We see how much they’re trying to charge for something that shouldn’t be so expensive. They are reliable, but the reality is that none of us are willing to pay north of 70,000. And on top of it you can never service the vehicle. Elon Musk does not produce enough spare parts to service the vehicles out there. and he doesn’t care.

  It's the manufacture's fault. If you want everyone to "go green" and buy electric, you need to sell them much cheaper than gas cars and cheaper to maintain. Do your research, they are more expensive to maintain. Battery replacement alone after 7 years is $20,000

  Heavily tax ICE vehicles to subsidize EVs and EV infrastructure. Problem solved. Long term result: ICE become too expensive to drive, so people are herded into Govmnt subsidized, criminal infested, public transport. All but the wealthiest 10% become more vulnerable and more dependent on Big Govnmnt. All by intent , and as planned.
