Saw the band at the old Glasgow Apollo Theatre in about 76/77. Got there so early we saw the bands sound check via the stage door. Was lucky enough to shake hands with them all as they left the theatre. Happy days.

As a teen, after The Beatles, most everything seemed less than equal, but then, thank goodness, I discovered 10cc.
Eric Stewart and Graham Gouldman, at the very zenith of their careers, as musicians.- aided, and abetted, by equally talented band members. Proving, if ever it needed to be, that 10cc weren't just brilliant word-smiths and humourists! Perhaps the Royal Mail could feature the original band on a special Stamp issue, just like they did with the equally talented Spice Girls?

1977 I sung yes in the shower at 17 , and now at 64 , I still sing yes in the shower and enjoy their music just as much . the last 47 years went by so so fast . So happy to have had this music for my soul to enjoy ........

As has been repeated ad nauseum, This era is real in every sense and sadly will never be duplicated again. Sound quality of the media and quality of bands alike. Nobody can touch this. Meaning vinyl on a good system, yet another classic that is superior to modern tech. (CD's or anything else)
