Magic is the player who got me into NBA. My dad was a Bird fan & the college finals was the 1st game I remember. Never saw anyone pass the ball like that. Add in the insane buzzer beaters and his leadership. Won the chip as a rookie playing every position. 80’s NBA was the best Showtime, Celtics, Philly & Bad Boys. Plus Air Jordan & Hakeem climbing up the ranks. Hopefully this new era can capture some of excitement Bucks, Celtics & maybe Philly in East. The West is stuffed with talent old heads Lakers & Warriors, KD with Suns and upcoming Thunder & Timberwolves and Nuggets in middle of fray.

When Bird planted his face on that parquet floor, he FRACTURED his Right Cheekbone. The throbbing pain had to be debilitating. Bird went into their locker room, got doctored up, the Celtics were trailing, Casey put him back in the lineup and Bird won the game them. Who does that? Bird, that's who. What player in today's NBA would do that? Leo

You are so funny! You say in the beginning he wouldn't make your top five because he was good at fundamentals... Can you do me a favor? Go back and count how many times you exclaimed, "Omg!" 😂❤❤🎉 I had to stop watching you to type this because you were making me laugh!! Much love!

I would kill to see Lebron and Bird go at it (at their retrospective best teams). I do however think Larry's skills at being a psychological assassin turns a thin skinned Lebron into a pretzel. Lebron gets pissed off and Lebron will get physical with him not understanding that Larry fought guys like Bill Lambeer and Dr. J over some shit. Larry would still be a problem for Lebron phyically.

Bird is tied for number 2 with Magic, either 2a or 2b. Jordan is number one. LeBron is top ten but overrated by all these young guys that didn't see these other greats play.

Larry and Dr J fight, Larry was having a great game and Dr J was having a shitty game. every time Larry scored, he told Dr J their score. at one point Larry was up 38 to 6. Larry would move farther from the basket and ask Dr J if he was going to come out and guard him or not? finally Larry told him maybe it was time to retire. then they fought

If you were on Larry's team, you would consider him the greatest player in NBA history because as long as you were open, he would get you the ball. He knew where everyone was at all times and you better have your hands up in the ready position to catch and shoot. Robert Parish, Bird's center, said that Larry added 5000 points to Parish's career total of points.
