That is so obviously a Charter Arms retailing for S&W M10 money. Why people are coughing up hard cash for this reheated crap from the 80s remains a mystery. Just buy a M10.

Unless your hands are too big for the Glock 19, the Glock 45 makes no sense to buy. Personally not a fan of the Gen 5. Rather stick to the Gen 3 or Gen 4.

Thank you! This is a great video! I learned with every word with out any silly BS. I have the 320 for home security and you answered every question plus gave the various insights on other things like watching out for shell ends getting compressed suggested storage methods etc. Great video for a person who is not a gun person or any gun owner interested in this Stevens Model 320. Pistol grip shotgun. 😊

You sound like you drink a lot of coffee. My 590 is condition 1 at all times. If it wasn't mechanically safe to keep chambered no one would be buying them. Practice noise discipline. A charging pump action is pretty loud and obvious.

I'm just amazed how Americans can talk so freely about firearms. Your fantastic 2nd amendment does that. Here in Australia we CAN own firearms but there is a shitload of humps to jump through. No question of concealed carry here, not a chance. Have to belong to a gun club, can only initially own a .22. Very expensive licences etc etc, the list goes on Sure it can be done and one has only to submit to the restrictions and all is well. For me it's just too much hassle so I buy replicas...

Looks like a cross between a 1911 (grip), Beretta PX4 Storm (slide), Glock (mechanical), and Steyr M (trigger/trigger guard).

The original H9 was never unubtainable. Buds Guns had it as well as others. DD might have better luck than Hudson, but time will tell. The H9 is still an answer to a question that very few are asking. If anyone really wants to know about the original H9, Ian at Forgotten Weapons documented everything in detail from beginning to bankruptcy, with interviews with the Hudson's

Thanks Dean, I watch quite a few shooting channels, your reviews are some of the best. The H9 has been intriguing since it's debut, your review adds to those who have done them. The H9 needs some work. Making it a full sized duty weapon might help, as others note, a steel frame might help. The grip is interesting, best thing about it is the angle. The thing will fade into obscurity, or make it if DD goes full size or a compact that lives up to the hype.

It needs a steel frame to add the weight to mitigate recoil. The frame is aluminum right?

I have this gun....no trigger manipulation is necessary for reassembly and it is not mentioned in the manual of arms. In addition, they do NOT recommend trigger manipulation for disassembly.

Important to note those torx screws on the handguard are actually torx plus and yes you need the correct torx plus bit to torque down the handguard or you'll strip the screws and have a handguard that isn't torqued properly

Thanks. Very interesting. I got a bolt action rifle when I was a kid in about 1955 more or less and it had a clip mechanism and would handle S, L, and LR pretty reliably, but would occasionally jam using the S or L. I found out later that the rifle was made in Germany by Anshutz (SP?). I passed it on to my youngest son. I did not know about the Flaubert round. I learned to shoot at Fort Bliss in El Paso back then, taught by an army man. Their 22s were singlt shot so would fire any of the 3, maybe the Flaubert as well.

I bought a brand new Uberti Cattleman in .45 Colt. It was the Jessie James edition. While it was beautiful and felt pretty good in my hand, it failed in my first trip to the range. It stop firing and I noticed that there was barely a mark on the primers. Looking closer at the gun I noticed that right side hand grip was cracked. Something inside that was responsible for their little firing pin had malfunctioned and now wouldn’t fire. I had to pay out the nose to ship the gun back to them for warrantee repair. They had my gun for eight weeks with no updates. When I contacted them they said they were waiting for the new grips to come in from overseas. I asked for an ETA…..nope. I finally asked if they could put different grips on it…….”we could put walnut grips on it”. Fine, whatever. It came back looking better than original and the grips are even more comfortable. That being said, I don’t trust Uberti anymore. I’ll never buy another one. And their customer service is very poor. They should make their existing customers their priority and they should pay for the shipping on warranty work. It cost me over $100 to ship it back to them. Eight weeks without a word? A couple more weeks to do walnut? Here’s a clue, pull a pair of grips off of the production line and slap them on.

Very nicely done!!! I've heard/been following along with this topic for decades, but I do believe YOU presented more things related to it in this single video, and you did so in a nicely worded/easily understood manner folks who have little to no hands-on experience can appreciate, but also for folks with reloading/ballistics experience. I for one had heard of the .223 Wilde, but never really knew what it was about (And since I don't have any platform designed this way, just didn't take the time to do my homework on). Thank you!

They really should have taken the extra step to put a shotgun appropriate sight on this gun. A simple bead would have been enough, get rid of the rear sight altogether. I splurged & put a Ranger Point Precision peep on the dovetail rail. ;) Haven't shot it with the peep yet so not sure if the front sight is of any use or needs to modified/removed. I tapped the rear blade sight out.

Why always point gun in safe direction? "Cause Alec Baldwin happens.... If properly practiced with your firearm, one never knows when the safety comes off or goes on....never missed a quail because I didn't get the safety off; never shot a buddy cause the safety was off. DUH!!! Put the kiddos in the gun safe, let the guns roam......

I have a newer model Mini 14, I replaced rear sight with Tech Sights because it was junk. The rifle feels very natural, 20 round Ruger OEM mags work best. 10 rd mags don't run as well. Overall awesome weapon.

I Qualified 'Expert' with both the A2/3 and '1911' pistol while in the Corps.. I personally did not/do not like the '1911' platform, but that's just me. I have zero shade to throw at it, OR the proven/venerable .45ACP cartridge and the effectiveness of them. I've owned the Ruger 57 for over four years, and their 'LC' Carbine chambered in the 5.7x28 for two. I love them both. THIS introduction into Ruger's growing list of firearms has piqued my interest into delving BACK into getting/using the .45ACP! While this carbine is a no-brainer to me, I now need to thoroughly investigate choosing a pistol platform that I won't resent operating! Thank you for this excellent video, and perspectives! Got yerself another Subscriber! :-)
