Beautiful video and soundscape! I loved the vocal, the violin, and the synthesized sound mix.

I kind of feel bad that there could have once been a Native sacred site at a place that stands out like that & the quarry destroyed it before it was ever documented, but it's a nice little area to hike & explore.

The earth is the LORD'S , and the fullness thereof ; the world , and they that dwell therein . For he hath founded it upon the seas, and established it upon the floods . PSALMS c/ 24 v/1-2 PSALMS c/104 v/6 -9 Thou coveredst it with the deep as with a garment: the waters stood above the mountains . At thy rebuke they fled ; at the voice of thy thunder they hasted away . They go up by the mountains ; they go down by the valleys unto the place which thou hast founded for them . Thou hast set a bound that they may not pass over ; that they turn not again to cover the earth . Isn't it wonderful that we can date the earth to be five days older than Adam .

Ohio, my home state, is just such an interesting place. I love it's rich natural and cultural history, unfortunately, I could not make a life there like I have today on Maui. For a state that seems increasingly red party/freedom focused, they sure did make it hard for a moral, intelligent, hard working hippie to get by. I do love the natural beauty of the state though. Growing up in Enon, I know John Bryan, Glen Helen, and Clifton Gorge like the back of my hand. The Miami River Valley is home to dozens of interesting geologic wonders and features as well. Even the Mad River flood plain is dotted interesting cliffs, creeks, and wetlands.

So first what you’re going to want to do is get yourself some giant hands. Yup that’s right, get yourself a nice giant pair of hands, because when you go to handle these fish, they might not be as small as these these man’s hands make them look. Bye gollie oh gee are these hands some hands.

Why is ODNR Permitting a twice documented Mound Twice the size of monks mound Cahokia in Northeastern Ohio ! Permitting World Heritage Site, Twice Documented Mound , 1000 Ft., 20 acre, Plaza permitted destroyed by ODNR for Gravel ? ORC 2927.11 - This ORC prohibits the "defacing, damaging, polluting, or otherwise physically mistreating" of "any historical or commemorative marker, or any structure, Indian mound or earthwork, cemetery, thing, or site of great historical or archaeological interest."

At 70 I have learned over the past several years my roots were in Greene County before moving to Montgomery County. Just learned about this center recently and hope to be able to see how things were for those living in the area in the 1800s. I spent my high school years in Miami County but didn't attend Tecumseh H.S. I learned I am a part of the Studebaker family who have a large family "homestead" there. I hope to check their activities out now that covid is over. I didn't know I was related to kids I was attending school with. I hope others can use this new center to learn and maybe discover you are a part of it you were unaware of!!
