Greetings and welcome to my channel.
My name is Marika.
My channel is mostly dedicated to historical costumes and their construction, but I also like to partake in crafting and cosplay too! I have a diploma in Costume Design and Construction, and even though I have been sewing for more then a decade I still have so much more to discover about my craft.
I hope you will join me in my sewing adventures.

apricot!
What a stunning coat ❤ bravo 👏
What great additions. Nice to see you.
Stunning and beautiful. Thank you for sharing.
When you lengthened the front armhole on the bodice you didnt legthen the front length of the armhole on the sleeve to fit, hence problems.
I prefer the lilac dress and sleeve, especially if I can get a shower of flower petals in the same exact shade as you just did!
My only guess why women would wet their gowns...menopause and hot flashes 🔥 🥵 🔥 🪣 💦
You did very well
Love your dress 😅
Very interesting! Thanks so much. I just found you and I look forward to seeing your other videos. Margie \TN
5 years late but im in love with that dress !❤
Congratulations on baby
Wonderful! I just cut the template out for my machine. Thank you for the inspiration.
Mango
Probably oranges or idk what you call them in english, but in finland their called mandariini. Kinda like smaller oranges. Idk😂
Omg I love you you are a life saver praying it works 😭 for me subscribed !!
I hope it goes well for you 😁
I do the same with throw pillows, it’s such a great way to use up scraps
I like both I will try it! Thanks God Bless!
Fabulous
i own a serger but... can i be honest. it is collecting dust. having a bunch of thread on the edges of a garment is super ugly to me. why would i want to make my clothes look like the cheap stuff at the store when i can spend hours meticulously bias binding seams? isn't sewing supposed to be fun like that? i want to have fun creating finishes i don't get to see at the store often
You've inspired me to make a sampler of my own. I didn't need more hobbies!
Porque no.pones los patrones o las.medidas
I am so late to this party ! Just found this pattern by accident on Etsy. Thought it was cute and only now am I learning about all its flaws! I’m overwhelmed at all the alterations, afraid I’m not that knowledgeable in my sewing skills. I’ll have to rewatch this video 59 times before I can attempt this dress!!
Thank you very much forvthis detailed video. It’s May 2024 and I am starting to sew Regency garb, but with the changes this style had I needed some guidance. A suggestion: would you do a video on what would be appropriate to wear for older women of that time? I read that there was a tendency to keep wearing Georgian fashions, but there is little about what an older fashionable lady would wear.
Maybe someone mentioned it 3 years ago but for the over-under to work , has to have an odd number of limbs 😊
What do you do with the lace 🤔 can you sell your work?
Amazing ! I would like to see your trial collars as you practice. I have decided to try needle lace. Your video was inspiring
Wow that capelet changes the look of the coat a lot! It's a lovely ensemble 😊
Love your music thank you so easy on the nerves so many of these videos want to play music and it's hard to hear and you have a soft soothing clear voice thank you.
You aré an amazing artista!🌹🌹🌹🌹
Total schön 😍
Pineapple 😂🎉
You are just so real
I am making 2 of those. I have so many scraps. It is insane 😳 Thanks
Could you have re-engaged the feed-dogs for the straight lines? That way you'd be doing ordinary machine stitching which is, by its nature, straight.
OK, OK ... MOSTLY straight.
Love how the over-bodice came out, it looks amazing. So stylish.
Love the ribbon detail and the button!! Looks fabulous.
Thank you for this wonderful video. I am planning a 1790s outfit, and already have the fabric, so will rewatch this when I come to make my mock-up. Your finished gown looks amazing, I love it.

My mom used this style dress to make me several formal dresses.
Did you ever release this pattern? I love these! The have room for larger b00bs!
I haven't yet, but I have been working on digitizing it over the past month! The process is a lot more intense than I originally thought it would be as I don’t have the recommended patterning software 😅
@@EnchantedRoseCostumes whenever you release it I will definitely be standing in line with credit card in hand. I am so impressed with your work.
Wonderful as usual
I don't know if you follow her or not (Nicole Rudolph) but I just watched an interesting video on regency corsetry kzread.info/dash/bejne/n42H05qRd7badNo.htmlsi=ZL_VBBx_1jLY6B7h
