MITx delivers massive open online courses, known as MOOCs. MITx courses are developed and taught by MIT instructors with the aim of enhancing on-campus education, expanding access to quality educational opportunities worldwide, and advancing the understanding of teaching and learning through research. As of Fall 2017, more than 2 million learners worldwide have accessed MITx content.
