Can I do it to in my backyard? What is the ground base required? Do it need compact the ground before installation?
Hi, thank you for your questions. Schlüter-TROBA-LEVEL can be done in your backyard, however the ground would need to be prepared before installation. In terms of the requirements of the ground base, a weed membrane would need to be used and then a compacted 75mm gravel base to be installed above. Very helpful. However, the use of the term "Mil" may be confusing to a beginner who understands "Mil" to mean 1/000 of an inch. It would be better to say "millimeter" throughout the whole video, or at least "mm".

What is done to prevent tiles lifting in high winds? Is there a tile weight which keeps them in place for winds up to 100 KPH, 120 KPH ????
Thank you for your question :) It would be down to the self supporting slab supplied by an external party as it would be the weight of the stone being installed.

Should a space for grout be left between the tile and the finec or can the tiles be butted up very close to the trim for a cleaner appearance. ?

I want to make rounded 4in wall by gluing 2 of the 2in boards. Should I cut them individually? Or glue 2 boards and cut them as one piece?

Hi, this is a set back mode. Using a plug on the thermostat, you can set back the temperature by 3 or 5 degrees. By placing the dial to position 4 (40 degrees) and using the set back mode of 5 degrees, the thermostat will come on when the probe reads 35 degrees within the floor. How does the water drain once the adhesive has covered the drainage holes?
Hi, thanks for reaching out! Any rain water that gets through the tiles/grout joints, the water will run through the tile adhesive and be collected into the membrane. Could this be used on a horizontal edge of a tiled tub platform (like a raised bathtub platform), where the placement is like a single tiled step up?

Thinset on trim when tile is installed looks different than the thinset that was troweled. Was thinset quantity removed for installation?

Great video 👍🏼 I find my 60 x 60cm porcelain tiles move very slightly on these supports and make a slight sound when walked on. Very annoying. Supports are on a solid concrete base. I’ve even tried using a grout between the tiles which stopped the sound for a few weeks but the movement has led to the grout falling out. Any advice please?
