hi, i cant find .ssh directory even after listing hidden files
Hey there, the course looks awesome, but I am curious about something: at 00:07:35, you say 'I don't have to lie that you worked somewhere'. You almost said it like it's a common thing that people do when they're trying to get in the industry. Is that true, or did you kind of just say that flippantly while pointing out that we'd actually be getting work experience?
Hey Josh, you are correct! Unfortunately fake it until you make is a common thing on the market.
Thanks brother
How much will this course cost?
Right now we are you can our 6th birthday celebration discounted prices here 🫶🏼 codemify.com/codemify-hb-offer
Thanks brother.
For about half of your video, all you do is follow some instructions on a web page.
That is correct :)
How common are remote QA jobs these days?
I would say 25-30%
@@Codemifyis that percentage for people new to the field? Or veterans? Thanks
@@638DESTRUCTION that is a rough estimate of remote jobs vs hybrid/on-site. That’s was your question, right?
Do u need a Professional KZread thumbnail designar and video seo expert?
I'm good. Thank you for your offer :)
Very helpful your explanation on how to install the SSH in Github. Thank you so much! By the way, you teach and also explain things pretty well!
I love this interview. As a starter in US market I’m watching a lot of interviews on KZread and this one is good . Btw I have several interviews that I didn’t pass. Hope this gonna help me too…
Glad you enjoyed it! Keep us updated with the next interviews :)

THANK YOU SO MUCH BUDDY !!!!!
My pleasure :)
Thank you, it was helpful. Specially the lady was very smart and asked clear and to the point questions and had great constructive feedbacks.
My greatest pleasure!
Thank you for a very short and a brief intro on use of dev tools for QA'.
Agree!
Thanks for the video! It would be nice to see a successful QA interview example and detailed HR feedback, coz all the examples on YT I saw before don't look like successful ones. Here is a case of the interview of a typical Russian-speaking immigrant or maybe any other immigrant also, I don't think that citizens struggle with the same things, because they have lifelong experience in self-presentation and highlighting their personal achievements and contributions. You can wake them up at 4 am and they can tell you how is important their contribution to a company's success even if their main responsibility to sweep the streets. So the main point is if you can't tell about personal contributions to your previous project you can't be a valuable asset for a new one.
better to look at the job board and check how many open job positions available right now for QA engineers and how many job positions were available for example 2 years ago. And you will be surprised about the results :)
I am manual tester from past 4+ year. I am not good in programming. What should I do to get high paying job in QA?
Learn from KZread the test automation. You do not have to be good at coding to do QA automation. Maybe focus on UI and API test automation using the languages with more "simple" syntax, like JavaScript or Python. You can start practicing it as a side project (on top of the project you are manually testing). You can use tools and frameworks like Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, etc.). Once you are confident and have a working automation project you can discuss this as an addition to your current tasks in your project and ask for a pay raise for this. Of course manual QA still will be part of your daily job (and personally I think that nothing will replace human's manual testing in the nearest future) but automation can help to reduce time of testing some parts of the application. Ask AI for help with writing some tests and try to understand whole code it provides, how and why it works (or does not work sometimes 😅). This way you should be able to gain new skills, enjoy more what you are doing and increase your salary at your current employer or earn more with side projects. Never give up. Good luck! 🤜🤛
The better you are with coding the more likely your will be higher. There two ways to go: 1. Learn on your own 2. Take a course with mentors to teach you First one is cheaper but more time consuming and windier. The second will have the cost but much faster
I like it a lot )
Market is dead for QA’s. Change my mind
I'm doing QA for the last 15 years. It's been a constant try to automate all. Not possible right now. It takes more time to automate 100%, rather than automate 50-70% and use manual qa
I am new to testing. If you don’t mind, can you help me understand whether the cloud industry is a better choice than testing or not? I like testing but I don’t know whether it still has a high demand and good pay
Hey Karim, good question! Nowadays the market is someone spread apart with all jobs. I can not say go to testing or go to cloud industry because there are more jobs. But I can definitely say that becoming a QA Engineer is much easier then 99% of professions in IT. That's why a lot of people are into it to get started. It's sort of a back door to IT as from there, it will be easier to move any other position.
AI is a great helper for any programmer, but is a dummy programmer itself.
This is a great video! 👍 I would like to know more about QA before starting a course.

Thank you !!! So cool your videos are !

Thank you for this useful video !!!! 👏🏻❤
I am currently a product support for a SaaS platform, but a graduate in IT, is there a chance for me to land a job such as Manual automation tester before going QA tester?
Hey John, good Q. Looks like there is a bit of confusion. Manual QA is one thing, but Automation QA is a different thing. Although yes, you can become a QA Engineer generally
@@Codemify Thanks! Would it be better to have some certificates for it (QA tester) before jumping into applications?
@@john6283 Mostly it’s not needed. In US we only care about knowledge and experience. As Elon said: if you code well after high school, I’ll rather hire you than a guy with degree but worse coding skills
@@Codemify that's cool, mostly here in PH needs some certificate and 2-3 exp for that, haha they are not living in the same quote as Elon does.
@@john6283 haha are you taking about Philippines?
So … are graduates from the bootcamp essentially saying they had previous QA experience when they didn’t? I’m not judging, at the end of the day you gotta do what you gotta do. There’s a bootcamp in my area that does that as well. They have you make a mock resume. But they submit it to their clients. Is that how your bootcamp works as well?
When you sign up for Codemify qa BootCamp, you start your internship from day 1. That's a difference 💛🖤
Best video out there to learn how to write a test for WebdriverIO

One serious question right now I'm manual tester I will be upgrading myself for automation tester like api testing and selenium with Java ..My age is 35 do I get job in other countries like Germany as QA analyst..pls reply im from India or its too late to get job in western countries

My greatest pleasure! I've mentoring future QA Engineers and tech specialists for the last 6+ years. It's a pleasure to help people to get into tech
Great vid. Thank you for the software engineer interview questions and answers. Honestly they will be the same for front end devs, back end devs, qa, sdet, etc
Glad it was helpful!
Can a person from another country land a us qa job? Or is your bootcamp mainly for people in the us?
Physically it is possible. And I had a few graduates who did land such a job for US from another country. But it's more of an exception than a rule
Ummm what? Most QA jobs I see want Java and selenium. What is this guy talking about? Truth: it depends on your region and the tech stack prevalent in that region. Here in the USA, especially in Virginia most companies want these things: Java, selenium, cucumber, api testing, familiarity with CI/CD and other devOps tools. Don’t get me wrong, I see lots of cypress and JS, but this guy is mistaken about the value of learning Java for your *first* QA job. Learn both if you can to maximize your options, start with one and learn how to automate in the other.
Absolutely, the more you learn the better! I think this guy taught hundreds if not thousands of students already and might have an idea of what he is talking about :)
@@Codemifyfair point!

This was very helpful. Thank you very much Sergii!

Hi, so you mentioned briefly that "without manual testing, there'd be no automatic"?
You can’t become a QA Automation Engineer without learning manual testing first. As you need to know what to automate, in which priority, types of testing etc.
