what you need to know is davenport is boring and sucks. not a whole lot to do. not many restaurants or shops, just alot of new construction of homes only. The job market is nonexistent..

I'm 54 and my wife and I are VERY worried about our future, gas and food prices rising daily. We have had our savings dwindle with the cost of living into the stratosphere, and we are finding it impossible to replace them. We can get by, but can't seem to get ahead. My condolences to anyone retiring in this crisis, 30 years nonstop just for a crooked system to take all you worked for.

I feel your pain mate, as a fellow retiree, I’d suggest you look into passive index fund investing and learn some more. For me, I had my share of ups and downs when I first started looking for a consistent passive income so I hired an expert advisor for aid, and following her advice, I poured $30k in value stocks and digital assets, Up to 200k so far and pretty sure I'm ready for whatever comes.

@@MaverickDylan-7 The crazy part is that those advisors are probably outperforming the market and raising good returns but some are charging fees over fees that drain your portfolio. Is this the case with yours too?

Hey dude. Enjoyed your video. Just a little critique... In my opinion a 1 minute intro video with elevator music seems excessive for a video that is only 4:53 long. Maybe cut that quite bit for the future. I still gave it a thumbs up to support new creators' algorithms!

Thanks for the video. I have friends in West Palm Beach that are renting and moving to Clermont. They are talking me into moving along with them but I OWN my home in West Palm Beach. I'm seriously thinking of selling because I know I will have a lot of offers now. Not excited about the buyers interest rates as you've mentioned as still being high so I would rent for a year or two to gauge the market. Do Rental properties in Claremont appear to steadily increase year to year? Or have they tapered off? I don't want to get stuck paying rent again but I may have to do it for sometime until I find something to buy in the area.

In the early 90s when I came here the hurricanes, humidity, traffic, craziness, bugs, tornados, constant sprawl, perpetual construction, crowding etc could almost be justified in that it was cheap to live here......that is no longer the case.

Lake Nona is the top of the top in Central Florida. There are many high quality restaurants, such as the ones owned by Tavistock (Nami, Chroma, Park Pizza, etc.), and several others. People that bought in Laureate Park in 2020 now have homes that are worth double of what they bought for. Lake Nona is a top 25 community in the entire country for growth (official numbers provided by Tavistock). - There is a huge mall coming to the area that is going to feature art and entertainment - There are always events happening at the Town Center (hundreds per year), music, food at Boxi Park, and high-end events at the Wave hotel (for example, lots of cool tech conferences, with one being next week) - The area is purposely not targeting nightlife because of its demographic: Laureate Park, for example, is made of families with high earning professional (lawyers, doctors, business people), and safety, peace, and quiet are very valued. People buy there because they want to avoid loud, annoying, crime-ridden "nightlife" and raise their families in a great environment full of great amenities (gyms, pools, aqua parks, tennis courts, restaurants, walkable areas, etc.) Lake Nona is not downtown Orlando or Winter Park, with their higher crime rate, and it wants to stay that way. There are other many shallow places in Central Florida that feature loud, alcoholic, drug-filled areas that are not suitable for people that want a great place for their kids. The downfall of areas like Downtown Orlando is the proof that "nightlife" equals a worse quality of life for people that live there, and I would be very annoyed if I spent over 1 million dollar to buy a beautiful house and then have a bunch of messy people around my neighborhood. No, thanks.

I lived in Orlando all of the 90's and I can't believe they still don't have light rail. Traffic is awful and everything south of downtown is pretty much a death trap if your on I-4. I loved Thornton Park but now the cost of living is ridiculous and the job market is poor. Fantastic weather though never even really watched the weather on the news and loved shorts and flip flops most of the year. Oh and yaw have that nut job of a governor that you voted for yeah there's that. Moved back to OKC for family reasons but thinking of Dallas just cause of the massive job market there. Home and car insurance in Orlando is a mess too.

Do they control the speeding of the cars to keep walkers and bicyclists safe? I unfortunately noticed The villages when I was visiting that many people speed at least 10 miles or more over the speed limit but there’s virtually no police controlling the speed limit and several bicyclists have been killed or seriously injured.

It looks like they built many sidewalks and places to bicycle away from cars. Is it safe when you bicycle and walk to the car’s actually stop for you when you use the crosswalks
