It's funny how the German and Soviet victory cutscenes show actual real life newspapers (Pravda and Völkischer Beobachter), while the US cutscene only shows the "US Telegraph", a newspaper that ceased publication in 1837, according to Wikipedia.

2:54 I created this easter egg when I worked on the Hugo games in 1999. I can’t belive somebody actually found this, as even I had forgotten exactly which game I put it in, and gave up finding it throughout the years. The back story is that while working on the code for some of the old classic scenes I found an existing easter egg in the menu, that showed a recipe for spaghetti bolognaise as far as I remember. A few days earlier, I had found a stack of cards describing “21 adult party games” in my room mates flat, which I found hilarious. So i decided to change that bolognaise recipe for one of the adult party games instead, describing a game where all the party goes should play hide and seek in the dark, and gradually get undressed. As an 18 year old coder, I thought that was so fun. Thanks for posting this, and refreshing my memories! ❤🎉

In my opinion even the OST miss the vibes of the original game... A 6yo me was terrified on adventuring this hostile planet and having to face this ugly/silly-ish looking monster and the ost emphatize the dangerous too. This Uforia 2? just wimsical and joyfull... with the ost turned into high pitch noises. Terrible... terrible.

Ufouria is one of those experiences which left a lifelong impact on me. Everything from graphics to music felt like something otherworldly. I was around at the age of 6 or 7 too, when I used to play the game, quite a lot too. Over 20 years have passed since, but memories surface constantly while replaying the original game. The memories are often connected to places and friends who are no more. Ufouria 2 was a pleasant surprise with it's soundtrack, faithful design and animations. Especially the sky theme has stuck hard with me through the time, and the remake of it feels euphoric but rather melancholic at the same time. I am looking forward to seeing Hebereke Enjoy Edition on Steam one day.

As someone who played the original at the age of 7, playing this over 30 years later is such an amazing joy. The characters, the environments, THE MUSIC... it's all so nostalgic. I really hope Sunsoft continues to make wonderful combacks for many of their other franchises. Ufouria 2 is a wonderful surprise, showing they still got it. Thank you for uploading the soundtrack! It still has that classic Sunsoft vibe.

Kinda funny that the template for the Japanese newspaper is based on an issue right after the Pearl Harbor attack. Most of the page is either justification of the war or report of the successful attack. Definitely an odd choice for campaign ending cutscene.

After reading some coments I need to give my posture. In my opinion, the soviet victory theme is the best one. After all battles, dead, suffering, you hear one of these soviet songs, calling for a figth against the invaders of *our* land and the power of the red army. When I was a child I loved (and i still loving) the ww2 soviet songs, and that moment was and is very simbolic for me. I feel that i'm a soviet soldier full of bravery and wrath to the enemy figthing for my homeland as the real soldiers (Even preferring the german side cause i like german weapons, uniforms and history). We all agree that soviet ww2 songs are beatifull, and hearing it in a "battle" as the victory award as a soviet soldier just make it...Epic
