F*** Nelson. You couldn't wait 6 weeks and get married AFTER the season ended? If the Peaches had Marla in their lineup they'd have won the World Series in four games, and Kit would be back in Mudville milking cows.

Penny Marshall did a great job directing this film. Tom Hanks is great as always but just watching women be genuinely funny in scenes like this without feeling like it's a cheap setup. Such a great film.

A hilarious trainwreck, but this has to be one of the cutest scenes ever for a love-at-first-sight story! I think it's awesome that decades later, they're still together and as in love as when they first met.

Great scene. She shined and found love that she would not have found at home. Her dad was gold sending her off into a bigger world with the ladies. It's just a shame that the Peaches lost their best hitter. But Life trounces sports :).

Her father did tell her to go where things happen. And Rockford's loss was Racine's gain. By that time, Kit Keller was also part of the Racine Belles. Both ex-Peaches turned Belles were together again, as teammates.

I don't have a problem with that as much as I have a problem with Mae laughing at her. Mae is a mean girl (that's as nice as I am getting about her). Glad Marla had a happy life with Nelson!
