We've all been in situations where- had we known a little bit more - think of the time, angst or money we could have saved! I know i've been there myself plus through situations with others including clients the stories just go on and on.
I decided that if I could help someone get a little advance warning or info or clue - it could help us all!

Get this one....I was summoned for jury duty from a state I no longer lived in...no joke it was forwarded to my new address over 800 miles away...oh and I'm also medically exempt AND I STILL GET THE -------- SUMMONS....it almost feels like harassment at this point and I'm sick of it....
Utah Legal Services used to represent low income tenants until they took a case to the Utah Supreme Court. Utah was one of only four states that didn't have Warranty of Habitability laws. The Court told the Utah Legislature to pass habitability laws or the Court would provide remedy. The Utah Legislature passed habitability laws as Utah Code 57.22.1 et seq., Utah Fit Premises Act. Shortly thereafter, someone in Utah request Utah's Congressional delegation ban Utah Legal Services from representing low income tenants, which they did. Utah Legal Services is now barred from providing low income tenant representation. Good luck finding an attorney to represent you in a Utah landlord/tenant case. They all represent landlords because that's where the money is.

Respected Madam, My elder sister passed away in California, she had cancer. I am her only younger sister.. no brothers..my father is alive .. May her soul rest in peace. We had been informed by her that she bought a property joint with her husband there. Is my father eligible to get her part of the estate as she died without a will my brother-in-law informed us. We have applied for her death certificate. It’s on its way home. Kindly advise how we have to approach the court to declare her death and request a part of the property settlement according to the prevailing law in this matter. Thank you.

My father loves ridiculing, belittling, bullying, playing mind games, gaslighting me he makes everything about him everything is one sided.
I wanna get paid judge or lawyer salary since we are such a important part of the process just like they are.
My mom just got a jury questionnaire. She passed away a little over 10 years ago. She would have been 86 years old. i assume she's excused. I sent the form back, "She passed away 10 years ago, so it will be impossible for her to serve jury duty".

In summary: Narcissists, psychopaths and sociopaths while they are hoping to find another narcissistic source will ahead of time gather evidence against their target just in case they will be later brought to justice. After spotting someone who looks fitting to be part of their plans in life they will resort to spying on people by searching their potential targets phone, personal e-mail account including emailed to them bills, snail mail, voice mail etc. etc. until they find what looks to them as being their perfect next target. Then next they put on their mask while being too good to be true to their target. That is why it is very important to spend at least a year getting to know someone better before even starting to consider that you might accept an offer to go out on a date with anyone. (A clear sign someone might be with a personality disorder is when you see them often gossiping while being presumptious about others whom they know too.)
You never told us HOW to deal with a person who has no empathy. We certainly know how to spot it, that's the easy part.

"Your name...." It's unlikely to be you, it'll be your legal fiction, either Mr, Mrs, Miss etc or Fred WEST using CAPITALS. It's important to know the difference, the legal fiction is a traded asset.

My opinion of jury duty is that it is BS. So someone breaks the law to the point they need to go to a trial and I have to take time off of my busy busy work schedule to sit through their crap...... If selected I will be in a fowl bad mood everyday I have to sit there and am going to side with the majority of the jurors what ever it takes to get the hell out of there the fasted.

I've never seen them steal except for one narcissist. But, I can say what I have seen. For one ,they micromanage, they tend to do this for various reasons. Also, criticism of people who they believe are inferior, or who they see as a potential threat to them. They may target a person in the workplace. And be very critical of that person. They may do a lot of passive aggressive types of things, or even be aggressive in some cases. I think that it depends on what type of individual he or she is. And what he or she believes they may get away with doing. They don't brag, but they may be condescending and want to be the boss. They can cause a lot of issues amongst staff, because they are prone to bullying, and kack empathy . But they also at the same time, like she said, will ingratiate themselves with management. Or certain supervisors. They may be on their best behavior in large groups, but they will do a lot of damage to someone they're targeting, and because they aren't that way to everyone, they paint an illusion, not only about themselves and their actual contributions, but also they will do it sometimes at the expense of another worker. They also tend to idealize certain people in the workplace. So it can be very difficult for a person who is having issues with the narcissist to gain any support. They may also do things like "tell on" people, threaten people, and act as though they're doing all the work. And because they appear so confident, they create the impression of being quite competent. But they usually are just average performers who spend more time targeting the competition than actually caring about anyone or anything genuinely.

Great question! You can do this in 2 different ways. IF you have the original deed with the ink etc then you can add that designation and each initial that addition and then have it re-recorded. The other way is for you each to sign a new original deed from the two of you (in whatever capacity you now own the property) and convey it to the two of you as joint tenants with rights of survivorship and then record that.
If you check the box for one of the exemptions, does the court try to verify or will they just trust you?
That may depend upon what the exemption is and whether they have a very heavy trial docket- if they need many people. Usually they would accept it however in our jurisdiction I have seen the questionnaires with those but the people are not excused- the Judge wants them to come in and participate. They may then decide they could serve - if they cannot we recognize that and then excuse them.
@@FinelyRevealed In my case, I got a summons for a county court in a suburb of Houston. My appearance date is July 18th at 12:30 which is 10 days after Hurricane Beryl came roaring through. According to the court's website, dockets will be held as scheduled, however resets for individuals unable to appear will be granted upon request. Something tells me I will be just one of a handful of jurors to show up.

Can I pay in cash for the rental? That way I don't run the risk of extra charge after the rental...besides I don't pay extra fees for international purchanges since I'm from another country.
They will require a credit card to be used to secure any 'extras' later. When the car is returned you can pay however you like- and then they would release the charges on the card. If this is really important to your travel budget you can call them in advance and ask directly.

The paperwork if you are in small claims or the associate court or limited court is usually available at the court or on the website for you to use and yes - you would fill it out and then give to the Judge to approve and then it would be filed.
Question I was asked by sisters to quit job and be caregiver for mom,I did happily , then I went back to work after she passed, not long later I quit job to take care of dad with dementia ,dad got bad and was hospitalized I lived in family home and paid rent since 18 sister hired lawyer for (dad) and had me evicted , I was told by bailiff I would have 30 days to get my property I was denied by lawyer now my property is gone I spent my money just living when I quit my job, what can I do ?
Possible legal actions could be to sue for the conversion of your property or for replevin to get the property back. Sorry this happened to you.
