  The A1 Pro Max lock was added to HomeKit, but it does not lock or unlock the door. The device was added, but it doesn't work. This might be because the lock requires a Bluetooth connection and only allows connections through the Smart Life app.

  I'm only 15 minutes in but so far this is the best primer to Node Red I've seen. I've used it for about a year but sometimes I feel my basics knowledge of Node Red is actually still kind of weak just due to the fact I assume some things work the way they do, or don't realize the full options of each potential node. Great job. Only minor complaint is your audio is a bit quiet. Maybe it's just my devices but I had to max your volume out and strain to listen at times.

  Good video , I'm trying to add Ikea switches to HA, I have set up the ZigBee2MQTT and broker - Mosquito , but it fails. I am using an EERO hub so need to connect via a thread connection - not sure how this last bit works ... Any idea ?

  In EU I think we have only 2 wires in the tube between those 2 switches, there is not a default (L) wire in the tube, too

  Great Video. Did everything as instructed. but in homebridge. The device is on Tuya IoT. But when I open Homebridge, in the command panel I get: Got 1 Device (so it is finding it ) than fetching etc, finally i get: [Tuya] Unsupported Device: Name of device (in brown). Can you help please

  Thanks for the life of me couldnt see that little reset button on the smart plug. I also got a 4 pack of the SONOFF S40 Lites at the same time and I gotta say: I much prefer the SONOFF ones. They're smaller, more likely to fit on a power strip or a cramped outlet, go into pairing mode right away so you don't even have to set it to pair, the pairing button is actually big and press-able by your finger if you need, and paired immediately. The Ikea ones, while not required, did have a firmware update available when they showed up where as the SONOFF ones were fully up-to-date though that's a small gripe. Oh and not to mention getting them in a 4 pack had them ~$9 USD a plug, vs the $15 for the ikea plug.

  Can someone explain something to me. So for shelly to have light on it must have live coming to SW. But if live is comming, and I turn light off using app, and then click one of switches - no live is coming to SW, will light turn on? Basically, does shelly track 'state' meaning even with no live comming to SW it will light up?

  Nice video. And now I can access HA from any other PC in my network. However, the other way round doesn't work. How can this be enhanced, so that HA will find e.g. my Hue bridge or any other devices inside my network?

  My old robot lost its maps sometimes, so i had to rescan and re partition the whole house. Can the roborock save maps in the cloud so you can refrieve them at any time? Thx

  Great instructions, I was able to work through this and have HA running in a VM on my Ubunto machine. But it does not appear to be the supervised version. I am new to HA and had it running in docker, but only the core version. I do not see the expected supervisor to click in the left column. I need to get some add ons that are only available through the supervisor.

  For some reason my light is not switching. I’ve basically setup exactly the same as you did (besides names) but the light is not toggling. The inject node gives a timestamp to the service call and there it stops. Something to do with the config.yaml?

  Does ZHA support more than one Zigbee coordinator to extend it’s range (repeater not possible because of distance). For example one Sonoff bridge and one USB Stick (Sky Connect) at one time? Thank you

  Out of interest, is there any reason you can’t export all layers at the same size as the base image and then use a position of 0 left 0 top and the same width for everything (or just not specify?) to indicate everything aligns in the same place as you originally made it? Why trim the light overlay images down to the size of each room then align?

  If the Shelly switch catches fire (it does happen), it should be in a metal box. Google search "Shelly switch fire"😂
