Anyways, I started blasting...
love this guy
Yes, but if You can play without resting on the second string, You can play it faster…playing like that takes many years….so, if You do smaller movement of area of plectrum is finally the best thing, as playing on sweep picking.
in Mexico we call this tripletes!!
Congratulations Brad, you are one of my favorite Guitar players!!! This demo/lesson is fantastic! Is this lesson a part of a course? Is there also tab? where can I buy this complete course?

I appreciate the kind words
I've been practicing this for 17 years... I still can't do it lol.
Thanks for liking my technique, it’s a lot more simplistic than it appears and that’s what makes it difficult, if you’d like a zoom lesson I’m offering those now, [email protected]
Hey Brad. Just showed my nephew. He will be in his room practicing for quite a while! Happy thanksgiving brother
Didn't George shuffler come up with this in the 50s
Such good ring that has and stabbing quality
Looks like I have some practicing to do. Thanks!

יהודי שר?
This is the ‘rest stroke’ technique used in gypsy jazz
Thank U,,Sir...
I first saw this technique 15 years ago and I still am amazed by it.
Outward soft wiggle motion
Hi there - I just got a Gretsch 5422TG with a Bigsby and I have a question: hat's some pretty heavy tremolo usage you're doing there - have you made any mods to the guitar to allow for that (roller bridge etc) or do you have any setup tips to help the guitar stay in tune?
Medium to heavyweight strings are the best during for solid tuning during sessions and shows and brings the bar down lower for the ease of using the bar
Wow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks for The kind words
Basically this is an economy picking technique, or am I wrong? Amazing
Down down up gives a flatpicker the keys to the universe.
That is how I felt when I first discovered it
Unbelievable, how can a couple of fingers and a piece of plastic conjure up such music out of a guitar?!😵💫 It´s way too fast for my eyes!!🤪 Fantastic job!!!
Thanks for the kind words, getting ready to a todays version of that song after all of these years, booking out with my trio doing this music finally. Jeff Beck meets Billy Strings sounding, take care and thanks
Does this pre scripted? He looks uninterested in the whip process cause his knows what’s coming🥱
14 years later still essential , great
George Shuffler used a double down up roll on guitar in the 50's with Carter and Ralph Stanley, but you've definitely taken that to the next level!
15 years after still great
Thanks Christoph
Damm this is good info
Wow there tab available for this ?
Nice tutorial. Are you mostly initiating the Bigsby with an upward pull?
Fantastic….love it!
Fun!!! MERRY CHRISTMAS SHREDHEADS OF THE WORLD!!!!
Very Cool
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤🎉🎉
What kind of battery life do you get out of the cool tube preamp?
Are you missing your 22nd fret?
Found your music on Reverb Nation. Love the videos and your music! Keep up the fabulous work and thank you for sharing your tremendous talents! God bless you!
As an owner of an Alvarez Yairi I stumbled on your channel a couple of days ago. Digging into you bio and history a bit, the familiarity of your accent became clear. I grew up in Dallas, my dad (who taught me my first chords) grew up in Wolfe City. His older brother, now in his 80s, still resides there. I am absolutely obsessed with learning this technique now.
