I read these comments, and I salute you, sir. Just because you're in construction doesn't mean you know how to install a pool. These guys did an amazing job!

What type of pool is this with the metal walls?
@theOlLineRebelАй бұрын
It's vinyl, not concrete. There isn't much needed for vinyl. It's terrific if you ask me. Biased, grew up with one and it's still there 50 years later.

those type of pools can pop out of the ground as well?

??? How you mean? Ours never "popped out" in 50 years, several liners. But yes, traditional vinyl is easily removed, too, for those who want to "fill it in".

I guess that is concrete. We never had concrete - sort of defeats the purpose of vinyl, if you ask me. Maybe depends on the environment but that doesn't look much different from ours. The ground is just hogged out to shape and compacted. That's all. 50 years, never a problem not having some concrete base.

nice video but those stairs and returns and skimmer cut outs are going to fail within a year or so. you have to have 6 inches of water in the shallow end before anything is cut in to account for liner stretch when the weight of the water is added

It's poolkrete,little softer then concrete,and no you never want to sit it on the dirt,it will cause holes to get in your liner
@theOlLineRebelАй бұрын
This is new to me. We NEVER had concrete of any kind under our liners. 50 years. Dirt causing holes? Nah. They might want to ensure, unlike concrete, there is NO major rock base, but otherwise, no, leaks in liner not so much. Most were in walls. And, simply go in and glue them over with other vinyl tape and glue. Not that hard.

That size I would say at least 55k.
