Its my goal through this KZread channel to provide golfers with the knowledge and drills they need to improve and enjoy their golf.

They look almost identical.
I found this felling on my own at the range today, great feel, then looking around to learn more about it I found this. Question, why the concern on sequencing? its awfully hard to think like that in the middle of the downswing....I thought of the left leg straightening as pretty much the beginning of the downswing, it felt great, everything just came whipping through pretty effortlessly.
Hello, JChown. Love your channel. Question. When you're addressing a ball on a tall tee and keeping a foot's distance to the rear and three inches down, on what does one fix their eyes? I've been using your tip, with some success. I've gone from 170 to 195, but rather sporadically. Just trying to get this down.
Very timely! Just needed this.
Is it ok to have a bit of bend in the left arm as aposed to dead straight? Doing so helps me create softness in the wrists & less tension allowing me to naturally hinge the wrists on back swing. Stops my take away looking like Bryson (who has ability to do so)
Looks like a baseball swing
What is golf? Mechanics and feel. Rad.
You got it 🤙🏻
Hallelujah put together with your previous videos is what I have waited for for years this is the defining golf sequence
Awesome to hear!
Do you plan on posting any videos on the short game Jonathan?
Nothing planned as of yet. Once I get access to a short game area I’ll be straight on it 👍🏼
😁👍
Thanks Milorad!
Thank you.
My pleasure 👍🏼
Great drill. Must do for me on the range now.
I noticed you are using the jumbo grips (as do I). Any commentary on that?
It’s just a form of meditation
If you had to push something heavy you would keep arm tight to side 💥
Great content as always🎉 I can improve your thumbnail and video editing quality would you be intrested?
Thank you!!! This solved the problem that showed up a few days ago. Thanks again!!
Nice
Is the TRS Slider available in the United States? Great video!
I’m not too sure but I would assume it is 👍🏼
🎉
Thank you. Righty tighty!
You got it 🤙🏻
Good stuff again. As a beginner ive spent hour amd hiur watching training videos so i have seen this type of drill a few times but you explain all the reasoning behind it really well, easy to understand
Great to hear you enjoyed it!
😁👍
Thanks bud!
Great Video,,,,exactly my issue right now...:) THX
I find it interesting that these same three issues can also lead to you losing your posture and struggling with toe strikes. Golf is so hard😊
Which one has longer distance?
Great stuff
This is me. Thanks! Should help me find my old swing.
Kind of zesty
What’s a good drill for making sure the hands are above the right shoulder?
Well done ❤
Brilliant!!
Hi. I tried this move and, after 40 years of playing, I am hitting my best iron shots ever!! Fantastic but my driver and woods not so good, Any ideas?? Thanks
Yep over cock j have to flip to catch up
I may be over doing it on the left side to the point where I stand up out of it and blade the ball. Maybe this drill will make me go fish my golf clubs out of the lake, lol. Seriously this may get me the right movement.
Thanks bud! Really needed this! I've been working on getting rid of the steep shaft angle/ duffing/thinning for a month now but my coach wanted me to bow my leftwrist and cast with my righthand at the same time from the top of the backswing and I'm getting sick of it cause no chance at all. Maybe this drills give me a better feeling cause I hinge/cup my leftwrist a bit as well at the take away. I'm gonna try it tomorrow and hope you are a genius!😆🫶
J you’re the best and I trust everything you say. Watching this I notice that at last arm parallel your club face is open? Is it not supposed to be more closed and matching your spine angle? How is your shot not slicing?!?
Awesomeness
Seriously good video. Feel like this was a bespoke lesson for my horrible bendy lead arm. After watching thousands of videos this one seems to have backed up exactly what I was thinking. Can't wait to put it into practice, thanks pal
Like Monte’s NTC
On the left, you’re standing too close to the ball on the right you’ve opened up a gap allowing you to clear your hips and the club. It’s not rocket science.
😁👍
Thanks bud!
What size is the green platform your hitting off of ? How is made is there plywood or something underneath? I’m thinking about making one just wondering how to make it and what size .. Thanks I enjoy watching all your videos
You can use 4x5 or 5x5 mat. His is nothing special. A good mat will hold a tee and be an inch of turf then rubber.
Thanks
How does the monthly plan work in terms of unlimited lessons? I would like maybe one checkup with you per week. Meaning I practice for a a week what you taught me and then another lesson. What plan should I be getting then? Been practicing entire summer first year of golf I can hit a ball 200m with an iron 5 but it’s not very consistent. I want to improve the consistency considerably
Amazing video, thank you so much!
You can absolutely have a lesson per week on the unlimited lesson plan, but you can have as many check ins as you like on the plan. The Rotate Like A Pro plan is 4 lessons per month also which will suit your one lesson per week perfectly. Message me over on Skillest if you’ve got any more questions. Cheers!
@@jchowngolf how much is the plan
Check out the online lessons link in the video description. All the prices are on there 👍🏼
I'm back. LOL. Weight on the heels and bent right elbow has been working amazing. When I start to get some poor shots, I reference back to these drills for a few minutes and immediately hit good shots. Like step back and just observe the ball flight type of good.
literally what i needed
Great drill, thank you for sharing.
From an American's point of view - you speak too fast! You'd be more hepful if you just slowed down a bit and realize that English-speaking people from all over the world are listening to you - not just the Brits. But thanks for the tips!
I actually think the fact he speaks quickly is refreshing, usually I have to turn up the speed on videos because instructors talk too slow like I’m a child. If his accent is difficult to catch quickly you can always turn down the speed of the video or turn on caption. (My sister often watches any British tv/movies with captions)
best golf swing training drill on you tube 100%
how far should your “rear end” be from the wall or should it be against the wall?
