    I can’t stop listening to this song lately, and have been wanting to learn it on guitar. I loved how your voice warmed up to the song, it’s such a powerful song to sing and play at the same time. How did you learn it so well on guitar? I could only wish to do the same. Thank you so much for your beautiful cover!

    Great video. Are you from Miami originally? Everything you mentioned is true, but despite the negatives, Miami is still a place that I would highly consider calling home. I’ve even done research on other major cities such as LA, Atlanta, and NYC, but something just keeps bringing me back to Miami. That being said, I’ll be down there in June this year for vacation to see what it’s like. I think I’ll absolutely love it.

    I grew up in Miami, and I can tell you it’s trash. Miami is great for one/two weeks to visit, but to live, it’s absolute garbage. I lived in Shreveport, LA, and frequented Dallas a lot and I much prefer Dallas over Miami.

    The fully integrated circuit, the handheld calculator, and the ATM were invented in the North Dallas suburbs back in the 1950s and 1960s. This engineering talent created wealth and jobs and DFW has had massive, massive population increases since it was an engineering town.

    I'm debating Tampa vs. Dallas. While Dallas is more affordable, I'm a beach person which is making it hard. No matter the city, I'm sure they're better than Philly lol. I also wouldn't mind working for the Cowboys.

  • @gabriellevasquez11

    Definitely not extremely cold, usually around 40s or 50s. But could also get down to about the 20s during February. It’s snowed in Dallas two February’s in a row so far, but snow lasts about a week then everything is back to normal.

    I feel like Miami is the place you visit and experience the nightlife and beaches. Dallas is a much more livable city while still having plenty to do. Also like you said, Dallas has a much better job market and pay is higher. Miami positives are that it has beaches, palm trees and a stronger nightlife. If you want to live in Miami, move in your 20’s. By the time you’re in your 30’s, you will be ready to get out of there quick!

    You did a great job, I would add that Dallas is cleaner, bigger more upscale to my taste and opportunities to work and to do business are plentiful in Dallas. The neighborhoods of Dallas are so much better with much bigger and more modern homes. The highways and airports of Dallas are also bigger and better. though Dallas has a zillion more restaurants and so many nice Stakehouse restaurants and upscale restaurants, I think I prefer the food in Miami LOL. The Haitian, Jamaican, Cuban food in Miami is the bomb!

    Perfect video! We have been thinking about moving to Florida, Miami or Tampa area, but the pay is so low for what I make in Arizona. Unfortunately you get paid in sand and sunshine but it really isn't that much cheaper than Arizona. Do you get seasons there minus big snow falls? Also how is the outdoor life like water sports, kayaking and paddleboarding? Thanks!

  • @gabriellevasquez11
    @gabriellevasquez113 жыл бұрын

    hi! sorry but there really isn't any season other than summer if I'm going to be honest. Weather is mostly hot and humid with lots of rain every now and then. Pay is really low too, I've noticed that if you are working in Miami it takes many years to make the same as if you were working somewhere else for maybe a year or two. Other than that, if you go down to the beach there are LOTS of water activities (diving, surfing, sailing, kayaking, etc). There are also several small lakes you can sail in as well. hope this helps!

  • @gabriellevasquez11

    I think Miami is a great place for younger people that like to party a lot. It’s a very social and diverse place to live. It really depends your personality and with who you want to be surrounded by. I am personally not a very party person so I was glad to get a change after a while of living there. Dallas is more open to the idea of the American dream. While Miami sort of feels like a piece of Latin America all bunched up. I love Dallas because of how genuine the service is over here. Traffic was horrible in Miami, in Dallas it is way better and general cost of the Dallas living is cheaper. It also of course depends on what area in Miami and Dallas you are living in, but this is just a quick brush through of the general idea. There are several fun things in Dallas, lots of great restaurants and shops, museums and theaters, and of course six flags is quite close. Hope this helps!

    A few others I would have included; Annie (an absolute classic), The Wizard of Oz (another classic), The Lion King, Jekyll and Hyde (I don't think it was actually on broadway though so it might not count), The Count of Monte Cristo (the musical is better than the book), and "Natasha, Pierre, and the Great Comet of 1812" (recent and also about a quarter of War and Peace turned into a musical, so that's fun).
