Just made this, and it was great. Subbed in turkey for beef to shave the calories a bit, and it still turned out awesome.

Amazing, everyone is so focused on getting low calorie, high protein. When I am trying to gain weight I don't want to have to eat 6 low calorie meals a day.

This is the first meal prep I've seen from you and I tried it immediately. It was so easy to make and so delicious. My only improvement would be the chicken breast. I've never been a fan and I think in future recipes I will substitute with chicken thigh. Thanks and I'm excited to see your other videos. 🎉

If you want your beets to taste good, just blend them with a scoop of chocolate protein powder and water. It tastes like a red velvet chocolate cake (beets are what make red velvet cake red). As a bonus, you should just use canned beets. They've had time to soften in the can and they blend up better.

I really appreciate this meal prep... I'm a 28 year old woman, who is 5'10 and weigh at this current moment 125 pounds and find it extremely difficult to gain weight without getting fast food. I'll try this out in hopes that I can finally gain weight and eventually muscle.

You can go longer if needed. It will depend on the size of the thighs. Luckily you can’t really overcook thighs so longer won’t hurt much

  • @catche85

I do something similar to this. I prep "flavour add ins" - pestos, dips/spreads, caramelised onions and confit garlic. I both freeze and keep fresh. I have cooked sausage and bacon in the freezer. I can then make pastas, risottos, sandwiches, have snacks, omelettes etc - the same basic recipes but different flavours. All these different ideas for prep are great.

No offense to other channels and with all due respect to all the content creators, I think this channel is by far the best in terms of ingredients. I can get all of them at my local grocery store. I mean I don't see any: low fat peanut butter powder or "light" mayo or 0% fat goat cream cheese. It's all simple and accessible.
