  One love, the film about Ziggy's father Bob, brought me here. I grew up with Bob Marleys songs of peace. I'll be following Ziggy, I'm already a fan!

  You should buy the DVD "Marley" a film by Kevin MacDonald. It really dives into Bob more. I have not seen the movie yet, but I understand Cedella Marley, Ziggy's sister, (and his mother's name) and a few others had alot of input. What is not discussed in the film, as I understand it begins after the assassination attempt on Bob's life, is the roll the CIA has been rumored to have had in that. He was so much more than a beautiful soul and talented musician. He was not a politician, but his views weighed so heavily on people that I believe he would have had a huge impact on life as we know it today. Unfortunately, he died in his mid-thirties. In the film, he invited the 2 men that headed opposing parties in Jamaica. Not intending on doing anything, at the last minute he invited both of them onstage to agree to a stop to the fighting and come together. They did with a hand shake, and held their promise. He was an amazing person. I did see Ziggy in concert last summer. He was always on my bucketlist of musicians to see, and life stood still as I listened, danced, and watch him perform, much like his father. Love love love them!! Listen to both old and new Ziggy. My favorite older song is Tomorrow People, and one of favorite newer songs is Give a Little Love. I highly recommend starting there. You'll be hooked!!
