Awesome build... Well touught out. Can't celieve it's your first build.
Exceptionally nice build, especially for somone having no previous experience with these types of builds.
Very cool
@@TaylorandDaddy thank you 🫡
Very nice build actually one of the best I’ve seen.
Very nice build. I can see you put a LOT of time into this build.
@@marklindemuth2958 thank you!! Yes, for sure a lot of time, blood, sweat, and tears 😂 Appreciate you taking the time to check it out 🙏🏽
I think you have the best layout I’ve seen really looks like a home not a camper or travel trailer looks like a bedroom you never have to leave
@@ogyng9340 Thank you! Yes, it really has been a luxury on wheels, being able to live quite comfortably while traveling Thank you for checking the video out
Great vid but the noise in the video is messing with me
Very impressive 👍
@@terrirocklover7957 Thank you Sir 🫡
@@whoiskyran1446 should be ma'am but that's ok lol
@@terrirocklover7957 😅, Oops.. Yes, Ma’am lol
Curious why you chose the mini split A/C over some more traditional Van/Trailer options
@@DirtSickle1 Well I initially went with the Fresair 12v AC unit, but that’s not really an AC, more than a swamp cooler and for the space it didn’t work well. So then the mini split was the choice because of the power draw, remote control (can change settings remotely when away) and ability to monitor inside temp when away (we have a dog so that’s important for us). It runs on the battery bank and solar setup, no plugin needed. Hope that helps.
@whoiskyran1446 Yeah I just want to pick what cools it down the best as well as not wasting too much power
@@DirtSickle1 Thats what I just explained
@whoiskyran1446 Yeah I'm wondering why all vans don't run a mini split over a cruise n Comfort or Dometic rooftop
@@DirtSickle1 The size matters.Rooftop units only take of that external rooftop space. Mini split has the condenser/compressor unit which sits outside, and the inside unit.
Would you be willing to share your costs for the trailer a B d all the extras?
No
After viewing many conversions. Yours is still my favorite. Fantastic job!!!
THANK YOU so much!! I appreciate that 😊
Love it!!!!!!
😊 🙏🏽
excellent video young man, you are a talented guy and I urge you to continue your journey toward becoming a master craftsman, with the information available to you via the internet I would encourage you to explore mig welding and steel fabrication.
I greatly appreciate that!! That is something I have interest in doing actually, as I wanna build another rig out, from scratch. Idk if I’ll take the time to get into a course anytime soon, but certainly something that interests me! Thank you for the kind words and checking out the video 🫡
20' long minus 4"
V-nose..
Beautiful.., love that medicine cabinet, your built one of the best.....
Thank you so much!! 😊 I really appreciate hearing that 🙌🏽
Love this! You did an amazing job! Would love an update on this build and if you’ve added anything more or removed anything. Also, if you could do a video on just your electrical system that would be amazing.
Thank you!! Yes, I was hoping to do an update soon but I am currently doing some international travel, so it’ll have to wait until I get back 😭 Thanks for checking it out though!!
Great build. As a Designer your build is beautiful. I have enjoyed watching you build. You were an inspiration for me. I built a 8 x 24 which I hope to post soon.
Yo, I for real appreciate that 🙏🏽 That’s motivating to hear. Thank you for checking out the video and realizing the beauty 😊 Shoot, I would love to see what you built out so please do let me know when you post that video. I will check it out!
This video just showed up for me so I’m late to the game but still wanted to pay you well deserved compliments on the conversion as well as the video itself. Great job on both! I have a 16 footer that I’ve been contemplating converting as well.
Haha, not late at all my man. I greatly appreciate that though 🙏🏽.. The project was a hard one, but one I found extremely passion in so it was very rewarding. 16’ is a good size!! We almost went with a 16’ rather than a 20’.. Almost.. But, sounds like you wanna convert it, but what’s the hesitation? 🤔😅.. It’s a fun experience
Killer build!
Thank you Sir 🫡
Very nice ❤❤❤😊😊😊
THANK YOU!! 😊
Very cool. What size trailer did you use for this?
He mentioned it in the beginning
Amazing!
Thank you!
Really nice job. Great workmanship and I even like your decor, and I’m old. You have some skills sir.
Haha, I greatly appreciate that!! And thank you for checking out the video 😎
Love the trailer! You have a bunch of space behind your toilet that you could put an angled cabinet on that wall and get a bunch more storage with. Just a thought.
Thank you!! 😊 Appreciate you checking it out
Looks nicer than most new campers that I've seen. Very impressive work!
Thank you Sir 🫡 I appreciate that greatly! Probably just a little bit more attention and care put into this build , compared to warehouse assembly line 😅 Thanks for checking out the video!
Awesome job stay safe
Thank you!! 😊
You did a great job.
Appreciate that 🫡 There’s an updated video on my channel of this build completed. A lot has changed! Thanks for checking it out
Awesome!
rite on man! for not doing any of that kind of work before, you nailed it brother!! looks frickin awesome!! thanks for the cool video, be safe have fun brother
Real awesome!! I'm looking for a unit to build out. No experience! But this senior citizen is going to DIY this thang all by herself if she has to. Humph! Thanks for sharing your build. ❤
Thank you!! 🙏🏽 You can do it 💪🏽 You already sound determined so I’m sure you will succeed 😎
impressive.
Wow. I cannot let my wife see this or I will have to completely start over. To be fair I only have a 6x10 and am towing with a Tacoma with RTT. We both work remote though and this is just inspiring… Awesome build! If you are willing, ballpark on what you spent not including your labor?
Haha, thanks man! I appreciate that. Yes, so all in we are just shy of 50k on this build. That includes the brand new 12k trailer price and thousands of dollars I “wasted” on things I wouldn’t do again, or simply had to redo. (First time build mistakes) But yah, that’s a rough estimate 👍🏼
Very, Very cool
🫡 Thank you!
Big thumbs up. So many great ideals and well thought out. One of the best I've seen. Little bigger than what I'm interested in more interested in long weekends. Great job specially with building yourself.
Thank you Steve, I greatly appreciate the kind words! A lot of heart and soul put into the build and we’ve been very happy with how it’s been 😎 Cheers!
An incinerator toilet is the way to go these days. No black tank, no water usage, no handling shit
Hi, I am glad you started with simple size and insulation information. In my opinion it is the #1 overlooked detail in trailers; in hot weather especially. I bought a new trailer with Azdel composite panels and I could not cool a 14' trailer with 13,500 BTU a/c in AZ. I think air infiltration is a big enemy too. I'm getting ready to build one very similar to yours. KZread is reading my mind with this suggestion since I was watching classic rock videos... Great job!
You are absolutely right, insulation is KEY to lasting comfort, in all climates. With this rig, we have spent many months in AZ and hot climate, the 9k BTU mini split we have now keeps the place cool quite well, thanks to the insulation! And warm and toasty in single digit winter weather! But sweet, I’m glad you were able to check out my video and hopefully got some ideas/inspiration from it 😎 Best of luck on your upcoming build too!! If you have any questions, you know where to come 😉 🙏🏽 🫡
If i ever find myself a single man again this is what i am gonna build and live in full time 😂. It is perfect!
lol, heck yah!! It’s a great amount of space for two. And living on the road is a lot of fun!! Tons of experiences and interesting people that you meet 😎. But I appreciate you checking out the video!! 🙏🏽
Major inspirationalthanks mate.Any time you are in BC Canada. We have 12 acres surrounded by crown land .Come hang out with my wife and I .Oh and 3 Auzzie shpherds .🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦
I greatly appreciate that friend!! 🙏🏽 Wow, that sounds beautiful 🤩! 12 acres is a good amount space too! I will keep that in mind and make sure to send you a message if/when I work my way there!! 🥳 🎉
Dear brotha, this is the most elegant cargo trailer build that I have seen on KZread. Kudo to you.
Man for real, I appreciate that!! This video isn’t even the finished product either. If you haven’t checkout out the full completed tour, it’s on my YT page, but here is the link. A lot has changed! kzread.info/dash/bejne/lKRttMl-nM-ok9Y.htmlsi=CZwzB_wMx5x6pAEh

So beautiful and well designed and built! It is so cool to see such a quality build using a compost toilet which I definitely would consider in a build. The electrical equipment window is neat! You were good for your gf in the design.
I really appreciate that boss! Everything has worked like a charm, and super thankful to of had it turn out so functional for us. Compost toilet is a MUST in my opinion.. WAYYYY better than a black tank. Super easy! Thanks for checking out the video
I have watched several KZread videos on trailer builds and have gone to several camper shows. You have beat them ALL. Well done. This is best use of space and the features are perfect. WELL DONE.
WOW! 🤩 THANK YOU!! That sure is encouraging to hear!! 🙏🏽 🎉 I appreciate that feedback and you taking the time to check out the video 😎 The space has done very well for us. Very functional, and .. knock on wood.. NOTHING has broken along the way 😅 The quality was worth the effort!
Way so awesome

What an impressive build. You are an inspiration.
