  I'm more worried about getting cut. I can't focus, and lose myself nobody would hire someone like me. I've tried, but because I can forget, suffer insomnia, or lose focus. They refuse me as I would hold back the work or not complete it in time. I thought AI would be great in helping me with day to day life. But now I'm not so sure.

  How many US jobs were created by the increased demand for American exports to Mexico and Canada? Free trade works both ways. That’s what Trump supporters don’t understand. All those farmers cheering Trump on to put tariffs on China didn’t realize China would then put tariffs on all the products they sell to China 🤦‍♂️

  From a worker’s perspective, NAFTA in the abstract was a good thing, and while it did cause some jobs to be lost there it was measurably beneficial to the economy. The main reasons it seemingly failed was really because during that period Clinton’s economic policy was way too free market capitalist (which Biden has thankfully started to move away from somewhat but which was extremely popular at the time), and therefore a lot of the economic gains weren’t really redistributed down to the working class in the form of social services or welfare and instead just went to corporate executives. In addition a good fix for this kind of problem would be the expansion of worker’s cooperatives, which are essentially democratically controlled company, as only a dictatorial company where the worker’s have no say would just close up shop and move to a different country. So I think you can criticize Joe Biden for this somewhat, but his mistakes were very in line with popular opinion at the time and his modern policy is a lot more progressive (his union rights gains are literally unprecedented since LBJ). Either way, Biden is clearly the better working class president than Trump who destroyed the economy, cut taxes on the rich, and has done nothing for unions or the working class.
