Have you ever had troubles with beatmatching? Mines just go crazy with some tracks, and can't beatmatch them .. ? Any idea? thanks, great vid!

Do u beatmatch by ear or just set the pitch slider to same value as other player?

Heard a lot of opinion that its hard to beatmatch on 850, but don't know why as it has the same pitch slider as all cdj exept cdj 2000 and 1000. Think that's two types of Dj's. People that beatmatch by ear and I assume player is good for that and people that just match the BPM, and than it's a problem cos 850 showing only full BPM values, no decimal points

same problem like my friend on cdj 400, it doesn't have exact showing of bpms, so you have to find the "edge" if the track is let's say 120 bpm, you go from 121 and down but gently and slow, right away when it hits 120 you leave it be, same on the other player or same if you are catching the lower edge of 120, you go to 119 and slowly up, as soon as it hits 120 you leave it there and do same to the other player

Try Facebook Marketplace or your local DJ groups or maybie some kind of "DJ Buy/Sell" group if u have them in your area on Facebook. I never had any problems with ebay, but I get it why u dont trust it a lot of people doesnt.

What I want to figure out is how I can load a new multi-track/session (entire song in session mode) directly from the browser on the controller, so I can add songs to the set list on the fly… But it doesn't seem like you can currently :/ Anyways, keep making videos like these and I'll check them out ✌️ (Subscribed)

2023, I think you basically need two PUSH and a mixer…at least they have LINK last few years so you could reliably use that setup. Basically djing the 1’s and 2’s w/PUSH. Other option I’ve seen on YT, prep a huge set, with all the tunes, separated by a scene, so you can see the break between tunes, and off you go. Since you are likely going to bounce stems anyway, this isn’t so much different than preparing rekordbox, or serato, etc…but just using multi clip tracks instead of a single song. Since ableton has non destructive clips, and some batching tools to port from arrangement to session view, it actually goes pretty fast and once done, it’s done.
