Citymeals on Wheels provides a continuous lifeline of nourishing meals and vital companionship to nearly 22,000 of our homebound elderly neighbors in New York City. Since 1981, we've delivered nearly 70 million meals to older New Yorkers in need.

We are the largest nonprofit meals on wheels program in country, delivering over two million weekend, holiday, and emergency meals annually. Last year, nearly 14,000 volunteers gave almost 50,000 hours of time to Citymeals’ mission. We rely on the generosity of our Board, the City of New York, sponsors and other designated gifts to cover administrative costs. This ensures 100% of all public donations are used entirely for the preparation and delivery of meals.
