October 15th, I will be doing a Tedx Talk on sandtray therapy and I will touch on how sandtray is a powerful healing modality when there are no words to truly grieve this loss that we carry in our bodies.

Hi, Can you upload more videos on strategies you can use with this puppet? I've just ordered it. I am a class teacher for children aged 9-10 and in my new class, starting in September, the girls overall present some SEMH needs, such as anger issues, mutism, anxiety, friendship issues, self-esteem issues etc. There's one girl in particular with anger and self-esteem issues, who loves dragons. I'm hoping this will hook her in with behaviour strategies I intend on using in the class, especially with her. More ideas would be massively appreciated with this puppet. Thank you! :)

I am going through my masters in counselling psychology and I am really drawn to Experiential theory and specifically EFT. Just before I entered my program I met someone that did Sandpaly therapy and I got super inspired because I am an artist and I can make my own imagery for my trays. I am more interested in the Sandtray therapy. This video is going to help me with a group class presentation. Thank you so much. I really appreciate that you put this out there. Thank you. Thank you!

What exactly is the format being used to share the screens with the kids? Is this zoom? FaceTime? How on earth can I get a virtual version of Candyland??

Thank you so so much for sharing! Rn I'm going thru a grieving time because I realized so much about me and the way I am is because of being a womb twin survivor. I found out I was a twin when I was young maybe 6, my mom shared my birth story but she didn't talk about it too often. I have ALWAYS felt my twin's presence and leaned on them especially being in an abusive home. I know some info but I'm only now really wanting to dig deeper and heal.

My therapist mentioned that she wants me to try sandtray therapy bc she thinks I might like it, and at first I was like “uhh ok” but this makes me really excited to try!! I’m just really worried I’m going to overthink it too munch bc I overthink all the time about everything

  • @imagerythroughplay

Hi, Darcie, I am also excited for you to experience sandtray work. It really is amazing and although you think you may overthink it, it is hard to fool the unconscious mind. Sandtray work helps to turn off the thinking brain and just create. I encourage you to trust the process and let the miniatures speak to you.
