Not that its super relevant but the Wolves were 6-5 vs. the Nuggets in the regular season, 2-2 against OKC, 3-1 vs Mavs // Luka and Kyrie only played the game we won together, and that was before we had Gafford and PJ Washington and from all the film on that game Dwight Powell played most of the game. We have only played Dwight Powell in blowouts in "trash time".. I didn't see Maxi Kleber (I think will come off injury to play this seriers) or Dereck Lively playing in that game at all. Game was Jan 7th... I'm going to go find the box score

They pretty much gave away trash to get Gasol. They were lucky at that time Memphis was stupid and didn't ask for a haul to give up Gasol like the Pelicans did for them to get Davis. If Memphis had asked for a haul they would have gotten Odom, Bynum, Marc and 3 draft picks from the Lakers which would have wrecked the Lakers. For any star now the standard in a trade is you have to give up a few good players and 3 draft picks.

Shaq got swept 6 times in the playoffs and he never led the league in rebounds or block shots. He would come into the season out of shape, which you could make the case, that his poor work ethic cost him more possible league MVPs and championships.

The NBA on NBC was into the story of the league and the games. Remember before every game there would be a little video montage with a monologue. Then in came the theme song…it was great!
