  I remember playing with minecraft pocket edition demo a lot growing up. The ones where if you leave the game your world would get deleted. Because I never had a permanent world I always have to remember building my house from memmory. Good times. Thanks to your video I might just try and recreate that same old blue wool brown roofed house in beta 1.7.3. Good content man 👍

  I remember my first minecraft world which I played from beta 1.4 to beta 1.7.3. It had a house made entirely from wood on the rim of a canyon, and a 10x10 mineshaft from the top of a mountain straight down to bedrock. When the beta 1.8 update came out and the terrain generation was incompatible with the 1.7.3 terrain, meaning that my world had sheer cliffs at the chunk borders where 1.7.3 ended and 1.8 began, I was devastated to see that my world was going to forever be stuck in the past, so I deleted it and moved on. But what I wouldn't give to see what I had created all those years ago...

  I really like the interior. I am kinda jealous: in my playthroughs I always have been afraid to build openly. So I either built boxes or copied others ideas. So, great effort! Keep it up

  I’ve recently been playing single player for the first time in probably 11 years. Always play on servers basically by myself, but never could get back into single player for some reason. I’m trying to make it a new world with tributes to things I remember from that world I had when I was young. This reminds me of that a little bit

  The gear in the bottom represents your sanity. Different parts of the world are more or less stable and cause the gear to go clockwise (positive/good) or back (bad). Going near those brown swirls (aka “rifts” or deep below ground will also make your gear go backwards. If it gets too low then you’ll enter the “rift world” which is trippy and spawns a bunch of drifters (enemies). Looks like your dirt house is in a slightly bad location. As long as you spend enough time in positive places it should be okay but long term you’ll want to move. Watch the Vintage Story Guide series to learn how to play. If you ever played the TerraFirmaCraft mod on the other block game then this should be very familiar. Good luck.
