Weeping Willow Guitar Lessons
Weeping Willow Guitar Lessons
Growing up as a self-taught player I now have the hindsight of knowing what I should have learned early on to become a more well-rounded player. Never before has there been so much guitar instruction available, but now there’s so much out there it's hard to know where to begin. Not to mention, there is just as much bad content - tips, tricks, and so-called “advice” that can actually hurt your playing more than it can help. My channel is here to create high-quality content that you can trust. I’m here to help fill in the knowledge gaps in your playing, beginning with some of my biggest influences starting out (Jerry Garcia, The Allman Brothers Band, Blues), and will continue to add all sorts of styles and influences.

Just a fantastic breakdown of this wonderful tune!!! - always wanted to figure out the whole tune - thanks to you I now have it pretty much nailed - cheers mate!!!
Sick thanks man this is awesome, the only part of the song I never have been able to pick apart by ear, appreciate you
You’re a great teacher, WW!
Thank you!
Jerry plays over the chords so well, and yet you feel how much fun he's having. It's not flashy or too complicated but yet it takes me a long time to just play one pass well. I love these bends and inflections. Please keep posting more good stuff. Get Out Of My Life Woman is a blues exposition and one of the greatest live recordings ever. Same with One From The Vault Franklins Tower.

Nice job teaching the theory as well as the solo
Thank you for this can you a video on the music never stopped from this night as well please?
Help how do i stretch my fingers for thd chords
Wonderfull track, very profesional. The dru.m/percussion sound is quite good.! Started working on this piece, and when i came across your track it inspired me to devote more "precision" to this masterpiece! Thankyou.
You are awsome thank you!
I thought I had a caged breakthrough when you explained the first phrase. I could immediately see it and play it. But the rest not so much, other than the general area you’re playing in. Should I be studying the “full arpeggios” I’ve heard people talk about? Maybe that’s why I’m not connected the shape to the phrases being played
I’ve transcribe a lot a Jerry stuff over the years. You got good ears man. A lot of players sleep on the finger picked stuff. Things like this, Althea, Crazy Fingers etc.
Yo i have ben trying to look for a tutorial the jam section of this song, not like this one, but the version during 9/25/91. If you could make a video on it i would be one of happiest people in the world
Nailed it... thank you!
Very well done!!! - love this tune - best song off "Blues for Allah"
Great tone!
thanks man, perfect backing track!
Thank you for all the lessons on this amazing song!
Dicky wrote this after Duane was killed while swerving to avoid a peach truck but made contact resulting on his bike landing on him. There is no Duane solo, Dickey overlayed the second guitar. I 1st learned this song on a 33 & 1/3 record player in the 70's. The Eat a Peach album was dedicated to his passing, thus the title "Eat a Peach" Album.
His solo had been recorded previously for the album (which was released after his death). He did not hit a peach truck. He swerved to avoid a lumber flatbed and was thrown from his bike. The "eat a peach" is a reference to him telling an interviewer "and every time I’m in Georgia, I eat a peach for peace."
@@miked1754 Did not know that, thanks.
For Jerry!
🧁Mahalos for the Share 👍🏽
This is so damn good.
The sky is crying, look at the tears roll down the street The sky is crying, look at the tears roll down the street I'm waiting in tears looking for my baby, and I wonder where can she be? I saw my baby one morning, and she was walking on down the street I saw my baby one morning, yes she was walking on down the street Made me feel so good until my poor heart would skip a beat I got a bad feeling, my baby, my baby don't love me no more I got a bad feeling, my baby don't love me no more Now the sky's been crying, the tears rolling down my door
Good stuff! 👍
thx m8. took me a while but im almost mastering it. would have been impossible without you.
Sharky....
Thank you! Nice tele!
may i please have the tab for this
Great detail ty
Great video! Good accurate solo as well. The only thing that's got me a bit confused is during your "Lick #4" it seems like on the tabs there's a 7-5 pull off missing at the end of the first measure. The way you play it totally makes sense, but it seems like those two notes are missing from the tabs. Regardless, you've done a great job with this video. Awesome!
best breakdown on the internet. Seriously the "why-s" and the theory nuggets really helps get in his mind
Do you offer Delta Blues lessons?
Thanks for the lesson! spot on.
This is great, I’d love to see the underlying chords the solo is being played over, I always struggle to understand that
Outstanding tutorial on how to nail this solo! Many thanks! 🎸👍
Slamming backing track, thanks so much!!!
This is the best KZread video I’ve ever come across, thank you man, great great work!!!

Oh man. I have just found my new ringtone. I LOVE this full tune beyond compare; it's my dream to have it played during my final 30+ minutes of life!

Thank you for this full transcription ! Do you have the pdf of this song ?
I have no interest in copying a note for note solo..Its a very fun song to improvise over ..don't get caught trying to sound exactly like the original
