  WOW - you covered everything - one thing about scratching poll - when our cats used it we praised them - stressing good girl - good girl - they reacted to our praise and loved to show it by going to the poll from time to time one loved the scratching pad as well. Then they expected a treat believe it or not - ultra-pasteurized half & half in small glass bowl was expected. They loved it.

  Well, I was 9 for 10. My cat never brought me presents, but she didn't really have much to give me. I woke up every morning with a cat laying on her back on my chest snoring. I'd rub her belly and kiss her nose to wake her up so I could get up for the day. She'd follow my zombie walk into the bathroom and sit on the toilet while I was getting a shower. This was our routine for about 10 years until she passed away about 6 months ago at 17

  I'm so sorry for your loss. I believe she was a wonderful companion. I know how much she meant to you. By the way, my younger cat brought me a half of mouse body yesterday.

  @@PupPixels Well, she was an old lady. She lived a long comfy life (I had her since she was about 2 weeks old). I wasn't 100% surprised when she died but I was sad. I made sure she had a nice comfy place in the sun next to the window to lay while I was at work and she'd chill on my lap while I played games and watched movies. I sometimes catch myself stroking an invisible cat when I play games now because I don't remember much of a time when she wasn't there.
