  The essence of the 356 is so eloquently captured by these visuals of it intimately in action, making tracks, plying the trail. Reminds me of the feeling I got playing with my matchboxes in the dirt.

  I think i have commented before....but what a great happy video......watching in Leighton Buzzard Bedfordshire UK. Whilst cooking and drinking Brewdog Lost larger (breaking the no alcohol Monday to Friday Rule) after a long day .....the video is like the therapy to unwind to for a few minutes... forget the crappy UK weather all the global unrest.....drift into planet 356 California.....

  I had a 1972 targa 911T in Colorado and used to drive it on forest trails, high dirt roads and Jeep trails., Way too much fun.

  That's awesome that he made it available to drive on public roads. But I'm confused. There's this car, thr official 1-of-1 blue road car, and third: a R390 that looks exactly like the race car but is painted all white (except the red spoiler). So who has that one? Has it too been converted for street use?

  i dont feel ashamed to admit that i envy you. the car you drive is easily among my favourite cars of all time and i cant even say its for the motor. its look is absolutely stunning, a real work of art. ofc i know the car from Gran Turismo 2 for the play station and ever since then i have fallen in love with this car and its beautiful 1997 black-red sister. the motor is great, too ( in the game ^^ but im sure in real life its the bomb, too xD).

  I love this video and this Porsche! Matt is an inspiration to me! Most Porsche owners keep their cars in the garage and seldom drive them. I'm fortunate to own one (my dream car) and drive it every day! I want to enjoy it, and I do! I keep watching this video over and over! It makes me happy!

  There was a time when it was a race. All that implies. Man on man, machine v machine. Now, it is an "experience" for "car guys". Is that an evolution? Is the Carrera PanAmerica more inclusive? Is that a good thing? Are we better, now? Personally, I liked it when the drivers/teams talked less. Didn't congratulate themselves.
