Hey man... I ended up scoring this 85 monster for $800 local buy.. I'm loving it... this was samsungs best miniled they made... the new model qn90D ($4800) at BB is not near as bright or as poppy as this 2022 model.. it makes sense as 2022 was the year samsung dropped their first QD oled the s95B and seemed to have focused all their efforts on QD oled. The qn90b is a beast.. and has a plethora of gaming features... my previous Sony did not have. I have an nvidia shield pro doing all the streaming.. and that gives me no issues regarding motion etc. That the built in apps might have that I have heard people complain about. All in all if you need a bright miniled with proven gaming features and excellent Sdr and Hdr Pop look no further..
Did they say can you go around them and if so, do it but I don’t know if that was the pace car he did good though next time you can let it rip around that track

You need to get a day out there with a PCA training day. I have attended a BMW Car Control Clinic, and I been a passenger in an instructor's car on Laguna Seca and that was amazing. I am assuming that the PCA has track / car control classes to teach the "basics" of car control and track driving. In the BMW classes, it was the prerequisite before taking the track classes. Probably best to get your own helmet assuming you will do more classes. Also in general, your car is not covered by your insurance while on the track, so you may want / need one day track insurance. Then the $$$ starts. I know this can be a long answer, but I am looking for your quick response to Porsche making the new GTS a Hybrid. I think the traditionalist will hate it but the newbies may think differently. Have Fun!
Ya this was actually one of those "training day" weekends but I'm not a member and didn't know about it till last min when a buddy told me about it. I was hooked after going though. I can see how this becomes a huge money pit hahaha.. but man it's a wild feel! The new GTS I'm on the fence about.. I'm not a fan of the single turbo, the face lift, the push button the tach etc.. the basics but let's be real we all grow to like it.. Porsche isn't going to make something worse, and when they do they correct it. I can't comment on performance and feel until I get behind one.. i hear great things but people are paid to say things too so it's hard to trust things online, mag, etc... I'm not sure I'd invest In the first round of hybrids..let them work out the kinks hahaha... but I'd be interested In checking it out. What's your take on it?
@@jeffcamara I think the good part is this is not Porsche's first Hybrid, so they have built others like the 918. But it is the first 911 hybrid, so there is some concerns. The electric turbo is an interesting way to try and minimize turbo lag, but can the electric motor withstand all of the heat from the exhaust over the years? I am not a fan of the electronic Tach since that is tradition, but the electronic dash makes it easier for them. Just like the push button start. My everyday car has push button start and it nice not having to insert your key, but kind of like the Tach, it's tradition. Of course I would get PDK (yes I know that is the only Trans you can get), but I have friends that would tell me you are getting a Porsche and you are not getting a manual? I think if I ever get it on the track. the PDK allows you to not have to think about one more thing. Trying to learn how to drive fast is complicated enough, driving line, where to brake, how to accelerate, learning the feel of the steering wheel when driving hard, etc., so now also having to figure out what gear to be in, when to shift , etc. would probably overload my little brain. It sure would be great to try the new GTS, but I always worry about the "first" of any new vehicle. Oh and I can't wait until you get to drive your vehicle on the track. I have only done a fast what is called a "Lead / Follow" on Sonoma Raceway and also Laguna Seca, and that was great fun, but I have never been brave enough to take my first track driving class. I kind of bought my 2002 BMW 540iS to try track driving class but never did. I did go through the preliminary car handling classes, and was "qualified" to take the track driving class, but I was afraid that I would crush my car. I still plan to do that someday with some vehicle. I am getting old, so I better get my A#& in gear, or I will be too old. So go do it. It will be MORE fun than you will ever expect. Hopefully they don't hold you back because of the Convertible. Some tracks / schools want you to have a metal top for safety.Take Care.

DON'T get hooked on track driving. That's when it get $$$$. First you will want a different set of tires / wheels. Then harnesses. Then a different suspension set up. Then on and on! It is fun though! It is also fun to learn how to control your car. Good Luck!
I could easily see that happening! The car is incredible as is that I haven't crossed that point of making changes yet but I could imagine how quickly it becomes a money pit!
