Glad to see u guys occasionally playing Milt Jackson's GORGEOUS composition: SUNFLOWER. WHAT a line-up on that fabled CTI album THAT was .. Milt, Herbie Hancock, Billy Cobham, Freddie Hubbard and Ron Carter. Hardly ANYONE seems either to compose or play brilliantly exciting stuff anymore. 😬

В 1983 купил лицензионный BJ4; слушал без остановки. С тех пор - один из любимых музыкантов. Когда пытаюсь играть фьюжн, невольно подражаю ему.

I'll always remember Bob James as the composer of that SUPERB piece of jazz, EARTH TONES, on the Grover Washington album MISTER MAGIC. Composing that alone must have been worth half a lifetime!!

I don't know who the drummer is, but if I'm not mistaken that is Judith's dad on bass and her mother on piano. I first discovered her from Scary Pockets, she's GREAT. Thanks for posting this.

She takes everything that was great about music from the sixties, seventies and eighties and incorporates that into her modern masterpieces. The melodies in that 1st song alone were off the charts.
