Been just messing around with bass since i was about 11 (almost 27 years). Ive noticed two things....my dexterity has diminished, and I'm thinking my fingers are getting shorter, lol

That bridge, or whatever it's called, that you play about the 8:30 mark is just killer. I'm not a huge Tool fan, but that riff is one of my favorites.

So frustrating. Thanks to your tutorial, can play the whole song start to finish with the og recording, but muff up the sixteenth note section every time. Arthritis in my strumming hand is making shredding virtually impossible.

Respectfully, I don't believe the opening riff is played the way you do it.

As a relative beginner, can you just tune your top strings down that much? Or would you need heavy strings, in which case, would that mean there may be too much tension in your guitar neck? 🤯

Valid point. In a musical practice setting, and for learners, it might be important to convey useful information. Major third, minor sixth, perfect fifth, "yeah, I know what your talking about..."; those are established naming conventions for hundreds of years now.

don't take this the wrong way, but I always hear guitarists say you can play this "any tuning you want as long as it's dropped" but tbh, you can play it in a standard tuning by just playing the bass parts (low E string) 2 frets down from your tabbed positions.

Your Intro is Wrong. The A string is not hit with a open 0. Its an X meaning the A string should be muted, here's a link to the right Intro played correctly. kzread.info/dash/bejne/l32it5eGirCte8Y.html
