It was great while it lasted I was given BP 99% pure diamorphine that came in 1 oz bottles stolen from a chemists shop in 1973. You would not believe what was available on the NHS then. A veritable pharmacipia of the strongest most wonderful type.

Te extraño, piojosa, te voy a querer siempre.

He hides behind his crack, weed, booze, coke so that he doesn't show his sober self. Because if he showed himself 100% sober, it would be obvious that musically he is a less than mediocre talent. There is nothing elegant about being elegantly wasted.

"Beg, Steal or Borrow" what a superb opportunity to have the following conversation. When Jai Stanley Peter's old school chum began managing him in 2016 Jai cut off all agreements and on-going and at a stroke I am cut off from thirteen years of work with Peter as an individual artist - his multi media collaborations Peter's Press, Films, Videos and TV, his blood[painting and successful art career, my work as his literary agent ...I have never been paid a cent by Peter but am also prevented from being credited financially or receiving recognition for my achievements. The value I contribute to Peter has been effectively stolen by Jai Stanley who takes long exotic holidays on the income I have generated. Peter is a truly brilliant lyricist but he suffers self-doubt to the extent that he is now openly discussing plundering the Wass Goldmines ... Peter has benefitted from his relationship with Peter Wolfe who is an incredibly strong word-smith and I would say on average 3 songs on every album are part or complete Wolfeman songs. I have a red line that Peter is happy to trample over and that is the intellectual property of others artists and collaborators -"giving credit where credit is due" Peter's prime directive is "take the money and run" he is invariably in too much of a hurry to worry much about accreditation ensuring that the person who is the source of said Lucky Windfall benefits, is paid, and credited. I was ripped off over my song "The Saga" on side two of The Libertines - eponymous second album you would think that if someone wrote the lyrics of a Libertines song on their second most popular album they would get more than a miserable £60.00 per year in Royalties - In this profession especially as in all of the creative arts as I'm sure Dr Adam Ficek would agree there is the necessity for a cultural duty of care for each other - we are each other's harvest. Peter has lost his soul through creating a world of lies and doubts he needs rescuing.

I have the recording of Peter writing "Beg Steal or Borrow ' and its very clearly a song by Lindisfarne one minute and then ****!!! FLASH! BANG! POUF! IT MAGICALLY TURNS INTO "BEG STEAL OR BORROW" Peter nicked the song from those Scousers - its a good job he's got long legs but he's getting a bit fat. haha. You can download the whole 15 minute recording from my Patreon page with Premier Membership.

Thanks for your comment - its great to get a conversation going, personally I really like "Siberian Fur" - there's Wolf's version on this channel with a video of Peter in Lisbon that I shot on a Blackberry. Have you listened to Wolfeman's "Napoleon" which he wrote in New York in 2004 before travelling to the Sundance Festival where he and the band delivered a legendary performance. Listen to Napoleon at hi volume. Incredible lyrics - great delivery - hard core.

g p shangan is clearly an idiot. End of. @gpshangan Your statement is wrong on so many levels - apart from its offensive nature .... Are you suggesting that Peter is innocent in these matters? An easily manipulated idiot? Wouldnt it be better to find an intelligent artist? Do you think that a person force-fed drugs will produce better work? How little you know about life. @gpshangan you must be very young to post such a thing ...so stupid ... although it is totally in line with Peter's innate strategy of blaming everybody else for everything. Never taking responsibility while at the same time not giving credit to others where it is due and this can be summed up in his prime directive which is to "Take the money and run". Nobody had to feed drugs to Peter and it would be a fantastically expensive investment to make, one which would be highly unlikely to show a return. It is safe to say that feeding an artist drugs is more likely to result in a poorer standard of work. I have to question your sanity if you believe the reverse to be true.

@@PaulRoundhill Look its not easy getting by so I am not meant to attack you. Plenty of people gave Pete some cash for a special one off show and then helped him turn their middle class home into a shooting gallery. Pete is wrong and I was on balachadha back when so I know the whole score (more or less). He has not done anything constructive with his time except run off to France and to be fair I have done the same to Japan. Had he stayed in England he would have been gone one way or another. At his darkest he was so weak and so evil as well. The combination of powders and injectables he was on would have killed anyone else, but as I always said "you cant kill Pete". Nearly everyone tried to take advantage of him but he made sure he got paid for his time and drugs till the AM. Never seen so much talent and it all went up in smoke. Could have been bigger than Oasis and he was the real deal. I know. My IQ, my ivy degree, my work in finance, i have seen a few smart people. As an artist and poet he was #1. Watching him do shows for 500 quid while the audience is talking the whole time, when the lad filled up stadiums a summer before, truly shocking. Justin Bieber at his lowest would go out to score, but by then he had amassed a fortune so he could bounce back. Pete lived as reject, not sure what happened to him early that made him decide that his fame would be sold for a cheap high. goodluck i meant you no harm. It was a bad time for us all, but we was all younger then as well. What a time. there will never be a time like that again, a true reflash from the 70s if only briefly.

Your story is interesting and I would like to hear more, its true that Peter attracted the brightest and best as fans in those days and if you saw the fans that follow him now you would weep for him - its very strange how much he has harmed his career - its utterly tragic because if he had the right people around him he could still be at the top of the world as musician, poet, writer and artist but perhaps he doesnt want those things - just a missus indoors he can cheat on and an old school mate who will never question his genius as a manager - They don't encourage his writing nor are they bright enough to support his art - its curious - I could sell you an. amazing hand-written poem or print to frame and hang on your wall to remind you of the good old days. Maybe you could add something to the book i'm writing ... you would obviously be credited, I'm not Peter. Get in touch - I'm not hard to find.
