Hey Tiffany.. 👋 will this also be helpful for med coding turtle students like me?😆
Hey @vmarigold absolutely!
Thank you so much for this information! I'm thinking about getting my CDEO certification. Is it equivalent to the CDIP certification? These certifications seem to be in demand right now.
Thank you for supporting the Chanel! Yes the CDEO offered by AAPB is comparable to AHIMA’s Clinical Documentation Integrity Practitioner Certification.
@@beyondrcm Ok thanks! So with a CDEO certification could I apply for CDI jobs?
I recently came into Blocksailor. The $10 potential seems quite appealing. I'm researching right now!
Just heard about Blocksailor. It's time to research and evaluate its prospects.
Thank you so much for this information, Tiffany. That is why we have several UHC claims rejected by Trizetto because of this issue. Thank you for the Tip and advice on sending claims out through paper. 😍
You’re welcome MJ, be sure to monitor all your claims, Change Healthcare is the primary clearinghouse interface for multiple major payers.
I Love the Hybrid Thing! lolx. Thanks Tiffany for this video and for Sharing what's going on in the Health care space right now. Thanks also for the tips and what to do in this moment of challenges!... God Bless you more! oh! before I miss it, I love the studio! Congrats!

Thank you again Tiffany for an informative video. This is sort of a review (but more technical) to the KZread video you posted recently; which was funny (and you kept it real with AAPC and AHIMA 😅😆). You are so right. Being proactive is the key in these situations and going back to the old tried and true methods. 👍💯
Thank you for always supporting the channel❤️ and yes I had a lot to get off my chest with AAPC and AHIMA😂
NY here!
Ive done a lot of research on Coding and billing jobs, It is virtually impossible to get a coding job with out experience. You have to send out hundreds of applications before you even get a job interview. . Is this the case for billing jobs if you get your CBC certification through AAPC
Hey New York, I see you! Thanks for supporting the channel.
Could you please give your opinion on taking the AAPC CPC/CPB Course vs taking the CPC and CPB separately to assure I get adequate training in both vs the combination course leaning more on the CPB information?
Thank you so much for checking out the channel🙏🏽. I recently found out about the combination courses being offered by AAPC from one of my colleagues less than a week ago, can you allow me a little bit of time to research further and get back to you? Also, you can email this question to me at [email protected] I will send you a detailed response. I will also include the information found in a future round up, but obviously you’re not gonna want to wait until then to get the info🤷🏾♀️ so be sure to send me your email.
Check out this video around the 38 mins mark, I delve into your question specifically kzread.info/dash/bejne/ZqWlu9GfnrWchsY.htmlsi=2lzLQLsJQ09yHWxh
If you are a person coming from a business administration background, needing to career pivot, which test would you sit for AAPC or AHIMA?
Both organizations are pretty good however the last time I checked, AHIMA is more cost effective with their programs compared to AAPC.
Thank you yess as you say med billing and coding are different worlds because you’re doing different things with the documentation related to the revenue cycle. They shouldn’t clump them together like that and make you think you’re learning both (unless you really are).😆
You’re absolutely right Tiffany. Even if you’re a great mbc, starting a business is another animal 🦓😆
Absolutely!
Got to get your bones first.
Amen 2 that!
What do you meaning about MBCS??? Never heard of the term.
Thank you for supporting the channel🙏🏽. MBC’s is a term we use in short for Medical Billing & Coding!
Thank you again Tiffany for your insightful answers and explanations and for guiding us through this ever more complex path of medical coding. We need more like you Would there be an email I can contact you perhaps? Thanks😊
Thank you for being one of our day 1 supporters. It’s an honor to put out content that helps individuals make informed decisions, I appreciate you🙏🏽 You can email me directly at [email protected]
I could not agree more about the certificate quality! I got my CRC a couple years ago and I was so underwhelmed and frankly, offended by how poor the quality was. For what they charge and how much work these certs entail, they could absolutely give us something to be proud of.
Hi @nichelerose1744 thank you for supporting the channel! Hopefully AAPC revamps the visual quality of those certificates soon as the existing one is No Bueno based on how hard we work & how much we spend to earn them!
Any recommended online schools ???
Hello @Shauntaybelton1153! Thanks for supporting the channel. If you want an in depth understanding of the healthcare field and do not just want a specialized certificate in billing or coding, I recommend a college degree program in healthcare administration, or health information management, with the option to get certified at the end through a recognized organization. If however, you are just looking to be certified in a specific area because maybe you have experience already, then my top two organizations are always AHIMA and AAPC. Both of these organizations have coursework to help you prepare for your certification in your specialized area. Best of luck to you!
Thanks Tiffany for the Part 2. Looking forward to more of your videos of your journey and any other good info for us students or newbies.😀
Hay @Vmarigold🤗 it’s always great to hear from one of my favorite viewers. I am working on so many great things for the community, can’t wait to share! Stay Tuned . . .
Hi Tiffany I love your festive look and want to wish you a happy and healthy New Year to you and your family. Thank you for your helpful videos as I start on this coding journey.🍭🎉🥳
Thank you aways @Vmarigold, best of luck to you! Also, I had to re-upload today's Round-Up Video. But I did copy your question: "I’m curious with NHA. Were jobs asking for that certification?" So, I became certified through NHA over 25 years ago and at that time many employers were not sticklers in terms of where you got certified, they just wanted to make sure that you had some type of experience and could handle the job. I believe this is why NHA captures so many newbies that do not question what they are offering in comparison to other organizations. Twenty years later I will tell you many companies, especially larger organizations are paying closer attention to where one's certification comes from. Just something to keep in mind as one shops around.☝🏾
@@beyondrcm Thank you again Tiffany. That’s good to know cause I sure don’t see anyone asking for NHA. For med coding AAPC and AHIMA that’s it lol…
No giving up🎉🎉
That's right, NO giving up Sheila 💕
Hi Tiffany, good morning and how are you. I've found your videos very educative and encouraging. Please i'm a newbie who wants to delve into the MBC world. Can you please avail me details of how to reach out to you? I really need a guide as i don't want to make avoidable mistakes. Thanks and looking forward to hearing from you asap. Thanks and best regards.
Thank you so much for supporting the channel, you can reach me at [email protected]! All the best for the New Year!
🙏🙏👌👌👌❤️❤️❤️❤️🌹🌹🌹
What an inspiring video again!.. thank you Tiffany ❤
You are so welcome MJ, thank you for always supporting the Channel!
Thanks Tiffany for the video and your input. I do worry that I won’t find any open doors once I finish and get certified. But I know I gotta think positive 😊
Please send me your resume [email protected]
How to become a medical biller from Senegal ?
Thank you for checking out the channel. The first thing you should do is determine the demand for this field in your country. You want to investigate which companies are doing business in Senegal and what is their criteria for hiring.
I’ve taken this exam three times. 67% twice and a 69% the last time. I want to cry and I did. I want to take it again but discouraged.
Thank you for checking out the channel Kayla, I appreciate it! I also failed this exam more than once so trust me, I know exactly how you feel. I want to encourage you to not give up, you are almost there, dust yourself off and kick that exam's behind! I am rooting for you!
Could you still work remotely without having to start your own business?
Thank you so much for checking out the channel, you most certainly can work remote without starting a business. I will be delving into your question on my next RCM Round up, dropping soon!
I just earned my CDIP last month, and failed my 1st time in 2019. I feel your excitement !!!!!🎉
Congratulations, I'm excited for you!!!
Amen!!
Hi. I just found your channel. I like what you're doing here. Keep encouraging and inspiring❤
Thank you so much!
Wow! I really enjoyed this video! Do you think that at age 47 is too late to want to learn medical billing & coding ?
Thank you supporting the Channel! 47 is definitely not too old to get into this dynamic field.
I'm 38 and I thought I was to old
Hey I’m Ari’s friend 𝗠𝗮𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗼𝗻 and congratulations on 10k subs ❤❤❤
