We are home to both the Junior & Senior National Squad. We are the only club in the Ireland with a dedicated Junior & Youth Development Programme. Our members have access to both National & International Seminars & Competitions. Our members range from age 5 - 55 so there is something for everyone. Your demonstration of techniques and kuzushi, (which I might add seems to be lacking in most of the Tomiki aikido I've seen since leaving the BAA in 1993!!), also not only being tori or shite but also uke is a very good example from the teaching POV!!... But I would suggest you spend less time talking and more time allowing the students find out for themselves!!... Maybe I'm old fashioned in that respect, but a picture of movement in their minds paints a thousand words, which if people are seriously paying attention they will pick up far faster by actually practising, rather than sitting and allowing themselves to get cold...... I mean that in the nicest possible way... Best regards Tony...
