  Esters bird of camera installation instructions quite lacking. First video I found was apparent;y for a prior camera and brack set up. And after poorly explaining attaching camera to shelf plate, video glosses over attaching mount to solar panel. Poor service.

  Is it poaaible to keep the white LED on the camera off? As motion-detection recognizes a movement, the small LED turns on. I think this will disturb the birds at night... we are using the camera as shown in the video.

  Can you please show an image of where the string is attached to the front or back of the door for the cord to open on a non-vertical door? My coop was delivered without a door so I had to manufacture one.

  Hi, after the WIFI camera has been connected to the app, can you then access the camera footage from within the app from any WIFI connection anywhere or do you need to be on the same WIFI network that the camera has been setup to the app on?

  I think our manual is missing some steps. Like attaching the nesting box roof. Other steps are out of order compared to this video, such as installing the wheels near the end at step 20. I also think the pi clips hurt to install. The biggest issue I have is that the holes in part 30 door stop are misaligned with the holes for the hinges and part 19 front wall. Seems like a CAD issue and easy to fix. I'm loving building this so far, and the manual is nearly top notch, but I occasionally run into little things like I noted that has this taking more than 3 hours to build, and I'm only now getting to the roof. Really looking forward to completing the build and having some cozy chickens❤

  I was lucky enough to get some rescue hens in March this year but they were very threadbare. They have all successfully grown them back but one has started a small moult again, the others not so much. Will they moult fully this autumn? I am supporting with regular tonic supplements etc. 😊

  I have this coop with the autocloser. Almost every night the shavings block the door from closing fully. I emailed to ask if there was a way I might be able to add a lip or something to prevent the bedding getting in the way and was told to just not use any shavings at all and just have the plastic trays with no bedding?

  I have one of these coops with eight large ( not giant!) hens. Plenty of room. These coops are so well designed and I highly recommend them.

  I have the chicken guard version, which is more complicated than this to programme and calibrate (although made by the same company). 100% recommend buying one for guilt free lie -in's 😊

  Miscanthus (elephant grass) is also a great option and slightly cheaper than shavings. Brands such as Fennington Fibres and Burleybed are available from places like Mole Valley Farmers or Wynnstay.

  They don’t need that, it ventilated when the door is opened. At night you don’t want any ventilation to keep the warmth in

  Hi, yes it's thanks to anti-digging skirts all around. Predators won't have the behavior of steeping back to dig a tunnel. And the metal used is really robust.

  Hi, really ? Normally after pressing the button for around 10 seconds, the camera must say that it has been reset. Please contact our customer service if it's not the case for some other tests. Thanks

  The issue I have with this unit is the light sensor settings! Its a headache. It states the current light level once you find the correct menu is displayed on the left hand side of the screen and you are meant to adjust the right hand side correspondingly. However if my current light level is say 8 early in the morning, the dam unit only displays a value between 50 and 90 roughly so its not even close to 8, so I never get it set correctly. I don’t want the timer mode or manual mode, this sensor mode was the whole point buying this expensive thing! Can anyone shine any light (pardon the pun) on this? as its just a frustrating problem to be honest

  Is the camera waterproof? IP66? To be able to use it also outside the bird box.

  Hi, not for the wifi camera unfortunately, the solar powered one is IP66 weatherproof.

  As per Tyler's question, how do I attach the auto opener's cord to the split ring on the door of the Large Lodge Coop? Looks like part 2 of your video is missing and this is not covered in the paper instructions supplied.

  How do you extend the cord to the split ring on the door??

  By pressing the down button when you're on step 1, this should let you extend the rope to attach it to the split ring on the door.
