I have same bike same year. I bleed kawi but jmo I feel the white coupler is B.S. before and after installing my 4.1 fmf full exhaust. I’m so use to the low end Power hit from my 2015I’ve ridden for past 7 years that my 2023 feels honestly slower but kawi calls it linear/smoother/easier to ride….🤷🏽♂️🤷🏿🤷🏽♀️ #My buddies 2023 Suzuki RM450 has more thump at bottom then my 2023 KX450. RM power Feels like the older 450 thumpers!!! 😆😁😄😃😀

I haven't ridden a stock 23kx450 but my 23 kx450SR I had to put on the black coupler and even then it's a damn fight trying to keep the front end down!

@@05redser I understand., I landed on the throttle but was to far back on bike so whisky throttle trying to hold on and I went over the birm into a fence doing super man then flipped over bars on Easter. 🤷🏽♀️🤷🏿🤷🏽♂️

Yes the couplers just change how the wires connect...the programing is in the ECU.

I think on your chart with the 3 different outputs @ 3:14 the white coupler was supposed to be yellow line right? You had yellow line as green couple. Reason I say this is yellow was the hardest hitting according to dyno chart which would be the white aggressive coupler?

I was expecting the same, however the dyno showed the green coupler made more power down low than the "white hard hitting" one.

I have done this before (but not recorded it). Yes there is a noticeable gain, around 1 hp right through the rev range.

I want to spend some more time testing and I feel it is more of a benefit for the 450s but the twin air system will give good gains on the the 250, close to a full hp in areas of the curve. And just to clarify , my previous comment was in relation to taking the air box cover off completely, yes doing this sees gains on the dyno

Yeh, I heard the bottom to mid power is less than my '19 but a tad more on top. I'm guessing they just changed the cam profile a little. I rather have a healthy bottom end for the Harescrambles I like to race. But adding more on top would be great

Have you dyno'd the 250f? Also, would have been nice to test/compare without the cover on. I know just cracking the cover open and quickly reving it, it instantly ducks the cover down. Has to be restricting air flow. I'd bet that would make power difference. Thanks. Love real substantive provable numbers. Your new sub👍

I don't ride 4-strokes but repair them a lot and I guarantee that cover is restricting air flow and would benefit from some frogzskin vents

The dyno isn’t going to show what that bike can really achieve in hp cause you have no air being forced in the bike like it does when riding the bike.
