Where the black rubber pressure switch hose is attached in the back it becomes smashed and acts like a restriction preventing air to expel into the pressure switch

Shoot. I cleaned the filters, checked the sensor tube, etc. and replaced that sensor part but still getting F03 E01...wonder if anyone else found another solution?

Thank you so much! Was having the same issue, checked drain hose and trap, both seemed fine. Was quoted ~$300 by repairmen to come check. Figured should try the pressure switch after watching your video. And viola!

My washer is still working. But I do get a error message with water not fully drained until I reset. Is it because I'm just overloading? Or overloading and a little clogging?

For ppl who have a dryer on-top of the washer…u DO NOT need to take the dryer off to do this. Just undo the 3 small bolts on the back (top) and then gently slide the dryer back a bit to where the top of washer is released from the front. After that, u can then take the rest of the back panel off to get to the filter :)

From the sound of the pump at the end of your video I can tell you your drain pump is starting to fail.

I had forgotten to turn the water back on - rookie move! Been working fine ever since I've made this video though which is great. Key thing has been to run a cleaning cycle w/ bleach or cleaning tablets regularly.

I removed coins from the filter, blew the black hose, replaced the pressure switch, replaced the hoses, and still had the error. However, I followed the advice below about using the Medium Spin selection... that worked! So, the order I'd recommend... a) checked the filter after removing the back b) check to see if the Medium spin selection fixes it c) clear the black hose d) replace the hoses (they should be done every 5 years) and e) replace the pressure switch

Spot on brother, thank you for the brief, bulleted, but precisely thorough trouble shooting demonstration. My issue wound up being a partially occluded air dome. I found a couple of small items in the pump drain catch (small hook and metal closet shelf peg), but they weren’t problematic. Took seconds to clean the gunk out of the air dome and I’m back up and running. Saved me money and time I can’t afford to waste (especially on NFL game day 😁). Thank you again for taking time to share your experiences.

Got a Maytag doing this. Barely anything in trap and cleaning made no difference. Replaced the pressure switch a couple of times already, made no difference. Leaning towards another module/Brain, but $300 new aprox and not sold on Amazon. Never again for Maytag/Whirpool products!

Had E1 F3 error. Could not clear. Door would not open. Pump would run, drum tried to spin but stopped. Pump was fine, cleaned the screen (Way gross). Checked pressure sensor switch. Still would not run C0 and unlock door. Could not spin drum by hand from the back. The load was too heavy. The dryer was stacked on top of the washer. Last resort before ordering parts, take the dryer off to remove the washer top, wife could then reach the door unlock pull tab. Removed 6 small Area Rugs!! Small sheet and two towels!!!! Way too much for any machine. Plugged the machine back in, closed the door and Ta-Da it works! Ran a rapid wash to test it and recleaned the screen before reassembling it. Good for another 6 years.

I've had this issue intermittently for about two years. I've replaced the Air Dome, Pressure Switch and, just last week, the hose from the Pressure Switch to the Air Dome. I thought this last repair had it nailed but this morning the dreaded E01 F03 appeared once again. I think the only option left is the Control Board which, here is Canada, is about $500 - and there is no guarantee it will be the fix (and, of course you can't return the part if it doesn't work). As much as I don't want to, I think I might have to get a new unit. This one is only 7 years old. If I could get it up to the roof to throw it off, I would.

This was helpful. I replaced the pressure switch. I also took the pump out to make sure there wasn't anything stuck in it. For anyone wondering, there are just four bolts and the whole thing comes out. If the errors come back I will probably replace that.

A technician has to verify different things that could be wrong as a rule of thumb, that's just part of the troubleshooting. You can't tell him I won't pay for this or that because I already did it. You can not put a price on someone's skills and time. Why bother calling for service, you're the kind of customer I wouldn't want to work for . At least be honest upfront when you call a technician and tell him you not willing to pay for what you already did and then is up to him weather to come or not.

THANKS! i saw how easy this looks so I went ahead and cleaned out my drain trap for the first time ever. So much stuff in there, no wonder I wasn't getting correct drainage. 2 pennies, a nickel, A BIC PEN, a bracelet and a bunch of plastic. There was also a large shirt button broken in half, both pieces lodged into 2 of the drain holes. One of the pennies was severely worn into an oval, stuck for up to 4 years.

Great Video! I found some quarters in the Drain trap. May have to do the pressure control switch next. Question: When you blew on the hose, was it pretty easy to blow air in there? Or was their alot of resistance?
