  Funny enough, this album was my introduction to both Rancid and NOFX. Love it to this day, the production is great on this album!

  honestly, its hard to consider this album the "best" nofx album!! its a good album, and it was the beginning of a much more original nofx style...if we compare this work with their previous "liberal animation", its obviously one step ahead. its less raw and a little bit more melodic. a pretty good second album, but "ribbed" is already so fuckin better than this! their peak is "so long and thanks for all the shoes" in my opinion...

  Meh title track is perfect almost dead kennedys style lyrics, I stil prefer so long and thanks fkr all the shoes though thats untouchable every track flawless

  Honestly, rancid should write songs for nofx, nofx has better vocals, but rancid more interesting lyrics/music

  People talk about the drums on this record being great, and they are! But every member of this band at this time came together and made something absolutely timeless. Jim, Fletcher, Randy and Byron each deserve their due credit IMHO

  I bought this album when it came out because I couldn't believe there was such a heavy band on Epitaph (at the time), but I thought it was kind of boring after a few listens. Fast forward 22 years, I gave it another listen after completely forgetting about it and it's fucking awesome! Disappointed that I didn't revisit it 10 years ago. I had/have a habit of buying a new album of a newer band based on reviews, thinking it's, "eh," and then loving it a decade later when I give it another chance. Animosity's album, "Animal" is the first that comes to mind. The opener, "Terror Storm" became my number 1 most played song on Spotify that year. "Dammit" by Blink 182 was my most played song whatever year 15 years after it came out was. Always late to the party.
