I tried to do it in 1.36, but I got a republican Orochoni, not a tribal one. Idk if I did something wrong or if it got patched.

I had all of China as Oirat by this point in my ongoing attempt at Oirat->Yuan->Mongols WC and it's looking dicey at 1670...so this might be a bit much for me. Great video though I thought the editing and voicework was absolutely fine, in no way seems like a first try

Hey guys confirmed that the strategy does in fact work in 1.35. Its very rng reliant, as you have to have a three province minor that can really only be orochoni bc of the coring distance. I suggest once forming a pirate republic, no cb ainu in the north of japan on hokkaido, vassalize them and integrate them while ur reform progress ticks up. When u have enough reform progress dev the ainu state (hokkaido) up to twenty, sell south sakhalin to nivkh or whatever tribal guy remains there, and the kurils to ashikaga or the shogunate if you can (if you cant, no worries). Either way, put your capital in the province where the rebels will spawn (the highest manpower province in the rebel menu) and then provoke the rebels in the same month, the rebels will instant siege your capital (1 siege tick) then they will move to another two provinces. On the third province's full siege, make sure to do the release trick that occurs at the end of the month. Best advice i can give to getting it on time is to wait until you see the ainu or orochoni nation actually on the map and press it as fast as you can; that way the nation is guaranteed to not have republican government forms, as it is a rebel released nation.

I can’t seem to get this to work. If I go too early, I end up as Orochoni as a Republic with all 3 provinces. If I got right after the break, Orochoni breaks free and is tribal with 2 provinces but somehow I stay playing Ryuku, an OPM landlocked pirate republic.

Why is it that after I have released myself as Orochoni for the first time I am a duchy and not a tribe? Is it because I had more than 3 provinces? Also I was attacked sadly just before the rebels could break my country and after I did the releasing, Orochoni rebels didn't immedieatly break Ryukyu, even though all of his remaining provinces had been occupied by them. Is it because of the war?

I tried this exploit, and I noticed something weird. The exploit doesn't work on certain nations : Uzbek and Timurids. I tried it on several runs, in Ironman and normal games. I tried it on Korea, Chagatai, Ayuthaya, it worked. But not on Uzbek and Tims. Any idea why?

I managed to become Orochi and a horde but when I conquer ryukyu and annex them i cant release and play as them. I dont know what i got wrong. If someone solved this problem pls help me.

Just a bit of advice, your thumbnail is basically incomprehensible. When making thumbnails you gotta keep in mind that YT's thumbnail size is pretty small, things get shrunk down and compressed a lot, and even reading the "How?" is difficult, most people might not even notice it. Otherwise good video, love your voice.

Ahhh, I'm reminded of when choosing a late start date to start the game (sometime after everyone gets imperialism) and then rolling the start date back to 1444 without restarting the client would let you start an ironman game with the imperialism CB against the entire world day one.

The Tibetan exploit was discovered 2 years ago by Chinese players, but it seemed paradox fixed it by preventing country with celestial empire reform changing government. But you seem to find another way to still use this exploit by forming Persia. The benefits of being emperor of china is really just -20% core cost. By the way there is another exploit regarding "syncretic religion" as horde. For Mongolian horde having this buddhism conversion event, you can trigger this event at August 31st, and wait until next year January 1st to click the syncretic faith at the same time. Slow down to 1x speed around December 25, and wait until the system automatically saves. Without clicking it, the event will end automatically, resulting the conversion to buddhism. But since you click syncretic religion at the same time, you can now being a buddhist while having a syncretic religion. Thus you can get access to some really power monuments while being buddhist. In terms of religion bonus, islam offers the most benefits, 2 missionaries + 8% missionary strength. In terms of world conquest, hinduism offers -15% minimum autonomy + -10% core cost + 1 missionaries +4% missionary strength. Using two exploits if you form buddhist-hindu yuan while still a Chinese emperor, you can get -85% core cost in total (25+25+20+10+5)and -95% if you consider 100 innovativeness.

I'm on the latest patch and it works for me, some of it at least. Select the option to make the war target a tributary, take as many provinces as possible, unselect the tributary option. Repeat as needed. Total warscore will be lower every time as long as you stay in the peace deal window. I don't think that's the fastest way, but it worked for me this afternoon and isn't fussy.

@@carlburke1625 i mean i do exactly this thing and it doesnt seem to work I click demand tributary then click provinces to get exactly 100% warscore then unselect the tributary option and doesnt matter how many times i do it it just wont lower total warscore

Another day where i'm sad that Emperor of China is seen as liability even after they get free cb on all China many would prefer to just destroy them because horde is that good. At least we have a way to play both for this patch now? But you wouldn't be able to use nomad combat ability until you basicly win the game anyway

even the AI does it lol, after Yue finished all their wars and there was just a few provinces left, Wu was the Emperor and had Nanjing and a few other provinces. Yue destroyed the mandate instead of taking it

I've been trying TTM as Emperor of China for a while and just not quite getting there, but this tributary exploit should help a lot even without going nomad.

The only thing is that it probably still wouldn’t be worth to get the emperor of China reforms- the low mandate slows a horde down too long. It’s better to enjoy high mandate and just use the meritocracy decrees.

1. It doesn't slow down that much 2. You can pass reforms quickly 3. You can't use decrees this way 4. You take this for 10% ccr and a few other sources to stack up to 80% and core everything in 8 months

You could do this as Ryukyu but it would be a challenge. The map mod I use is called "performance friendly flatmap".

This was amazing, definitely an easy world conquest. I'm surprised you're allowed to form other tags when you're the emperor of China (other than the obvious ones) You're voice is weirdly calm and soothing for this video, it feels like you're narrating a nature documentary whilst giving us hints on conquering the globe
