Hello Robert - don’t know if you know me or not - Greg Ream. I taught PE at Washington from 1983-1991 and then at DHS from 91-96. I coached football and baseball at DHS and lots of sports at WIS… I coached with Dave Gaston when your brother Gus was playing and also coached with Mike Crews in football. I just finished this episode and found it very refreshing to hear about Dinuba and the days gone by. I had Paul Meadors on some of my teams and in PE at WIS. I, too, was in education. 36 years from WIS in Dinuba to West Hills College in Coalinga and Coalinga HS. Been retired 5 years now. I wanted to write and say how much I enjoyed your show and extend best wishes going forward.

Coach Ream, I do remember you. I believe you were the JV football coach when I was a freshman in 1987/1988. That was when Matt Ringer and Sean Tully were playing. Thank you for the compliment and appreciate you watching the channel.

Thank you so much for sharing your story. And I’m so sorry for the loss of your son. My precious 12-year-old son was murdered by his father and a supervised visit by the paternal grandmother on August 4, 2021. 28 months and 27 days later, I’m still deeply grieving and can barely function. Tyler and I had an exceptionally close bond and every day such a struggle to live on without him. I have an ultrasound I know I have to stay on this earth for. The grief and sadness are just too overwhelming. I ache so bad hug my son to see and tell him I love him. I try to tell myself every day that I will see him again in heaven. I’ve been in therapy ever since. Tyler memorial scholarship award at the high school here. I try to keep his memory alive. Try going to greeting Mom‘s meetings and just nothing helps. I cannot find any joy or happiness. Not even a little. My son Tyler an amazing little boy. Smart, funny, great sense of humor, loved animals and baseball, he was an old soul and such a big heart and loved everyone. Complicated grief of his own father taking his life makes it more dramatic. Unfortunately, this tragedy is becoming more common but reality it’s pretty rare. I feel like I could only relate to other moms, gone through this tragedy to be able to meet with other parents who suffered this unfathomable horrific loss of their child. God bless all parents Lost a child. Is the worst experience I could possibly go through💔🥲 mom of Tyler forever 12
