So Breath taking Sherry - the majestic Gator gliding though the water and echoes of the beautiful birds. A beautiful moment to remember and reflect on. Thank you for sharing the beauty of nature dear friend 💞..the sculpture of the gator is wonderful too - I reently saw one similar of a dolphin on our travels and their powerful message of being mindful not to pollute this beautiful earth x 🙏
Animals are amazing teachers!!! I think you know I do some volunteer work for our local sea turtle chapter. We have two sea turtle hospitals within a couple hours from us. I think anybody visiting coastal areas would have a new respect for how important it is to help do our parts (even just picking up one piece of trash could save a life), if they visited a marine life hospital and saw the devastation one piece of trash can cause to an animal. A couple of weeks ago I was at the beach when I saw a large group of people gathered, and I just knew they were about to release balloons in honor of a loved one. I wish more people understood and cared enough to honor in a way that doesn’t potentially cause harm to the sea animals. Anyway, I know you know all this and agree 😂. I’m glad you enjoyed this little scene. The lighting was amazing that morning! Much Love and Beauty, my friend ❤❤❤

I have seen documentaries and it breaks ones heart. A most tranquil beautiful day in the park dear Sherry (& a little bite to eat too) 💕..the majesty of the trees and the enchanting water fountain/s. It so wonderous to see the historical buidings & the statues and the vintage style lamp lights. A fragrant garden is always dear to one's heart and capturing a glimpse the elegant butterfly and squirrel - the beauty of life and wonder all around dear Friend 💕
Savannah is such a beautiful old city … in the US, we view this city as one that symbolizes what we call “Southern Charm” or “Old South.” It is a look, a feel, history, and some more-formal traditions. (And a lot of bloody history with so much of the Civil War having taken place here. It actually was said to have begun in my own town. ). But I of course prefer to focus on the beauty 🕊️
I should mention that this is a pretty famous park and fountain in the US…a lot of movie scenes have also been filmed here. This park is impossible to navigate during tourist season … so I don’t 🤣

Truly a peaceful stroll 😊 what are those trees with fluffy thingy hanging from them? They look stunning - and the sunlight coming through leaves makes everything so magical. The water sounds from fountain were lovely - and the monarch butterfly in 'Fragrant Garden' and the fuzzy squirrel. Beautiful. 💖 Thank you for sharing.
So glad you enjoyed a little stroll through this gorgeous/ iconic park. Most of the trees are Southern Live Oaks, draped with Spanish Moss. They are quite a sight and make a gorgeous canopy, when lined up together.

Thank you. We love our almost 15 year old puppy 💕. We are very grateful for that day; it is one we will never forget. The sun was definitely hitting the water just right to reflect some gorgeous colors in moments.

What a most picturesque day for a little boating and dolphin watching Sherry and so many dolphins happily playing & swimming so close to the boat 🐬and the one that danced gracefully out of the water in slow motion - so breath taking. 💕Looks like the whole family had a lovely day together including sweet Piper there with the life jacket on - thank you for sharing dear friend a glimpse of your day on the water - nature is so wonderous 🐬
The day was a magical and memorable gift, indeed 🙏🏻. Funny you mention the life jacket. Three years ago, we brought Piper in for his first doggy acupuncture appt. He not only came out of it better, but he was extraordinarily energized. The next day we decided to take the boat out. I completely forgot to put his life jacket on him. We stopped at an area for lunch and from a distance I noticed a teenage girl near our boat wearing a beanie style hat. She really stood out to me. Later, my daughters were sitting on our boat and she apparently approached them (not wearing her hat) asking to check our storage area, as apparently she thought she put her hat on the wrong boat. Had that DIVINE encounter not happened, we literally could have lost Piper to a drowning accident that day, because that triggered a reminder to me to put on his life jacket for the trip back. On that trip back, he was still high energy and dove into the water after a Dolphin, when I turned around for a moment to grab a camera. We saw his fluffy little frightened face peering above the water far behind our boat, saved by the life jacket 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

I loved this... where I live the seagulls scare all the little birds away... I do put out a bird feeder on my balcony and got some Robins feeding last year.. I hope they come back this year ❤
I never knew seagull scare off song birds, etc. That is interesting. Come to think of it, I actually only see seagulls on the beach, where I live. I don’t see them inland…although I hear them from time to time (I live about 8 miles from the coastline, so they must fly in once in awhile). I love and miss robins. Until about 13 years ago, I spent my life in a northern US state, and robins were the birds I saw most frequently. I’m now in the southeast part of the US and I don’t think I have ever seen a robin down here.

Hello Beloved Evie! Thank you for your kind words. I always enjoy seeing and hearing your feathered friends from your corner of the Earth, as well! I searched high and dry for a bird deck, that was more custom and artistic, than typical Oracle. I found this gem in an Etsy shop a few months back, and I do love it! There are no words or a booklet, just Oracle or art cards. Being custom, it is a bit more pricey, but I am happy to support artists. This is the link to the deck ( seller is in California). I might do a video walk through of the deck soon, since it is nature and birds….our favorites! Thank you dear friend, I am grateful for my little slice of Heaven, as I know you are for yours. I found that bell in a boutique in a small nearby town. When I arrived home, I found an accompanying antique note, explaining its history…it was a Hindu Temple Bell, actually used in ceremonies/services

Thank you Yvie, for your kind heart and supportive words! When I started my shop (formerly Dragonfly Inspirations in honor of my story), it was such a magical place to play with creative and manifestation energies. Life and parenthood stages have put my other creative drives on the back burner over the last few years, but I have now graduated both my homeschooled daughters and released some very time-consuming administrative busy work (for my community band I co-founded). I’m entering a new stage, figuring out how to express my voice, and embrace creative energies and the beauty and wisdom of nature in a more deep, wise and profound way. Anyway, I re-branded my mostly neglected shop concept, to use as a tool of expression, as my Sacred breath, voice, and creativity evolve. Thank you, Dave. My family has enjoyed Fort Desoto for many years! I just love it there! My first time there was actually back in 1973. My mom gave me a photo of me (about 3), standing next to my 1 year old brother who was gnawing on a starfish 🤣. My content isn’t all outdoorsy, but I plan to do more as I love going on birding and nature hikes and bikes and I volunteer as a Sea Turtle tracker (I live on the SC coast). Have a great weekend!
