Thank you my friend Adwoa, I feel so blessed to have these incredible animals🐾🦘🐨 visit us and the fact that Gerry also loves them as much as I do and buys enough apples, carrots, and vegetables for their treats. We have not missed one dusk feeding them. As well as all of our beautiful menagerie of birds that visit us and they get their seeds as well every morning between 10 and 11 am or so. It is bird central at that time of the day at our place. 😅🦜🕊I just added some photos of our precious oh so clever Tasmanian Brushtailed possums , she came with her baby which she carried on her back as he must be too large to carry in her pouch anymore. I will have more photos as I took a lot more just need time to upload these. Here are the possums, Lots of love to you ❤ kzread.infoUgkxvnwGj2lL8Jr4HescMJnLbSA4wMPfrjqT

🦘#pademelon #Tasmanianwildlife #wallabies #babyanimal #cuteTasmanian #cuteanimals This is a brief video of our darling Paddy Bub , one of the sweet young pademelons ( native Tasmanian small and clever wallabies) that have been visiting us for almost 5 years at dusk and which started arriving this summer on their own during the day. At the time this was the youngest pademelon that had visited us but since then we have had a family of 4 or so visit with a tiny little baby who has visited us during the day as well. I can get fairly close, Paddy Bub is the tamest of them but sadly with winter being here and colder weather the "paddies" come and visit us at dusk ad night time now. The only thing I do not miss is the horrible dry looking lawn which now is lush and green again. We leave treats for them every dusk and can hear them play and see them often and we look forward to warmer weather again so we can sit outside and watch them close up. All of our wildlife seems to like me talking to them. I have come close enough to pat most creatures. We have a reserve at the end of the road so this is where these animals come from to visit us. I am amazed though that this marsupial ( they are nocturnal) has come to visit us in the day time. We are totally besotted as is our Sunti Kitty as he adores Pademelons, possums and loves bird watching with Pushkin. Paddy Bub has been here every day and it arrives at night with the family as well also we have had a new possum visit us at night and climb up to the balcony, no wonder Sunti wants to stay awake at night and watch the wildlife. They are such darling creatures. We also now have 3 brushtailed possums that visit us every dusk, evening and night, they tend to come up to our balcony, they are incredible smart, and Edwina Pinkie Possum has let me pat her and and we can handfeed her, also Henry and Patch Possum visit us. They also get their apples etc every dusk. Possums are so smart they opened a zipped bag which had bird seeds ( yes, we also feed all the birds every day ). Lots of love from Tasmania, Tia ♥💕

@@katyp.2495 Thank you , I feel very blessed as we did not have these kind of animals visiting us at our first house, we lived so close to the bush but for some reasons I never saw a pademelon in my life until we moved here. We do have so many trees in this neighbourhood and also have the reserve nearby at the end of our street. I actually saw a little devil crossing the road one day (never thought I would say that 😅🤣😂), the cutest little Tasmanian devil. It was so magical for me. Wishing you a lovely week as it is now getting cold with temperatures under 10 degrees tomorrow. xx

We also have another baby pademelon, he is straight out of the pouch and very small but already eating some sweet potato but have been unable to take a photo as he comes later at dusk when it is too dark to take a video or photo, he is not very timid but his mother is * understandably* very cautious so I do not try and take photos of them. But he is adorable as he is a true baby. Paddy Bub visits every day, my husband works from home some days of the week and he sees him hopping🦘 past in the veranda in front of his office windows. Thank you Roman, & thank you for caring he only had a small piece of the banana and also had other treats which are recommended that we can safely give the wallabies that visit us. They have been visiting us for 4 years ( Easter 4 years ago they arrived because we cut a tree down and they munched on the leaves etc) . They love our gardens as they are fairly well protected, there are hiding places and they cannot easily be seen ( except for us in the house ). Warmest regards, Tia

This is 'our' Paddy Bub. We have had families of native wallabies called Pademelons visit our garden for almost 4 years this Easter and lately we had a pregnant Pademelon visit us. We leave treats out and water every dusk and this is one of the babies, it is much smaller than a cat and is the only one so far who does not yet make a huge thumping noise as he hops as he is so small and weighs so little. He suddenly arrived on a Friday the 19th February when I went to sit in the garden on a very warm day February in our back garden and spent a day there. I left water there for him, an apple, sweet potatoes and banana pieces, he slept under our silky oak tree and then at night I heard the soft thump of a pademelon hopping down our drive way towards the back garden and she came back with Paddy Bub. Since that day he has visited us every day and seems to like going to the back garden. He or she , I call it he as it just comes naturally to me, is quite tame, does not hop away, even when I throw a piece of banana at him and it hit him by error , he was not concerned but chomped on this happily. He seems to like me talking to him. I have come close enough to pat him and but am still cautious as I do not wish to scare him , we hope we can hand feed him in a few weeks or so. Love from Tasmania, Tia ❤ Auf Deutsch : Das ist „unser“ Paddy Bub.

Dear friends, On this warm summer day today I was sitting in our garden and enjoying the sunshine when I heard a noise in the honeysuckle bushes. I went to investigate and thought it sounded loud for a bird. It was lunch time and I did not think it would be a nocturnal Pademelon ( a small Tasmanian wallaby) so suddenly it came out and I was surprised to see how young and small it still was. I spoke to it and it did not even seem afraid, perhaps as it must have listened to me earlier brushing the cats and talking as all windows were open and the sunroom is right next to where he or she was. I went inside to get some water and treats, a banana , some sweet potatoes and put it down, the sweetie went away but soon went back ( I also got my camera) and started drinking and eating. I did not wish to disturb so I took photos from afar but walked carefully closer and it did not go away. I wish I had taken a video close up even though I was pretty close but I got within touching distance and it would have meant no ferns in the way but I just wanted to be careful and not frighten it. It stayed there and as far as I know is sleeping again in the shade. I have no idea how it got into our back garden as it is closed off but perhaps it is so small it went through one of the ironwork doors , the space between the bars. I will let it out tonight as I do not wish for it to get confused and run onto the road. Every dusk we have a few families of Pademelons arrive for their treats, I heard them all throughout the night playing in front of the bedroom. I left the sound as you can hear the sea breeze, *UPDATE* I deleted a comment by mistake so I will write the reply here as it may interest others. Our cats love the pademelons and Sunti in particular adores them. He gets excited when he sees them, sometimes purrs or meows happily and it is clear he had such affection for them. He loves watching them and both Pushkin and Sunti do not fear them or see them as introducers. Also a newer update: I will share another video of Paddy Bub, he stayed the whole day and evening and slept under a tree in our back garden. He really is very small , smaller than a cat. At night time I heard a wallaby hop down the drive way and I believe it was his mother who then encouraged Paddy Bub to come back trough the gate ( in between the ironwork as the gates are closed to the back garden but Paddy Bub is small enough to get through) to her. We saw them the last 2 dusks and the mother is a young Pademelon who also came to us as a baby. Both slept under the tree in front of the bedroom in the front garden, the last 2 nights which is very special to us. Here it with love from Tasmania Tia

You're so lucky to live in such a beautiful place Tia, and the views are stunning. The pademelons are so cute as well. We get the odd urban fox every so often, but they're usually heard more than seen. During the covid lockdown when it was deathly quiet and there was absolutely nothing at all moving, we saw a lot more wildlife. Happy days😏!

Hello my friend, I never ever take the beauty of this island and its wildlife for granted. Somehow the inner child is still very much alive in me, and she would just jump with joy at seeing and feeding ( handfeeding cockatoos) the birds and Paddies and Possums etc. When I get up I go into the sun room and basically what I see takes my breath away with joy and awe. ( Our 2 kitties greet me every morning with so much as soon as I am out of bed and follow me into the sun room) I see the view, always changing with the light and seasons, the birds already excited as they can see me or guess the time and know it is time to be fed. I truly feel blessed and do not take it for granted. During Covid we noticed also that the wildlife was louder, it is pretty quiet here anyway, but no cars or hardly any cars made it so quiet and the animals were louder. Mind you , here at certain times the bird chatter gets so loud you cannot hear yourself think , especially the cockatoos. 🦜🕊. Lots of love, Tia xx

Dear friends, This is a brief video I took in the morning of this January ( our summer) and you can see one of our sweet visiting Paddies, a pademelon, a small native wallabies.🦘 One of the tribe of families, that visit us every dusk or so and we leave treats for them since 3 or more years. At the moment we seem to have a family of 6 or 7 arrive ( babies included) at the start of dusk and during the night if we have our windows open due to the warm weather we can hear the babies play and also drink and crunch on veggies we leave for them. 🍎🍉🥒🥬🥦 I was hanging out some washing on our balcony when I saw the Paddy below and took a video, you can hear a kookaburra laughing, some other birds and see and hear some of the birds. You can see the wattle bird in our flowering gum tree. He is a sweetie and we have tons of those lovely birds. All birds are attracted to the orange red blossoms and butterflies are also always close. 🦜🕊🌸🐾 I feel very blessed living here in southern Tasmania and not a day goes by in which I am not happy looking at our view. The inner child in me, who grew up in Berlin and Hamburg, is still very much alive as she would have been besides herself at the idea of all these animals at our house. I love handfeeding the birds, the cockatoos and I am so happy every time. I will never ever take the beauty of all around me or the wildlife here for granted. 🐈🐱☀🌝 I love my adopted island home and its inhabitants.🦘🦜🕊🌏🏖 Love to you all, Tia 🧡

Barry Ryan with ~Where Have You Been~written by Paul Ryan. #barryryan #wherehaveyoubeen #paulryan #60smusic #60smusichits Please check out my channel dedicated to Barry Ryan with 150 videos already published and many more ( as well as rare demos, live performances, interviews and much more) to follow @ www.youtube.com/@barryryan1948 @barryryan1948 This was released in September 1969 on his self titled album, just 5 months after "Barry Ryan Sings Paul Ryan" , the first solo album was released. I love this song, but then I do love that album. What a great 2. album This video was created and has been uploaded under the terms of Fair Use. No copyright infringement intended. I had some problems as I had the timing pretty fairly reasonable when my computer crashed and I had to try and use with footage I saved. I am releasing this today to wish you all a ~Barry~ Merry Christmas and wishes for a blessed festive season. In creating this video I wanted to honour Barry and Paul Ryan and remember them fondly and also continue enjoying their incredible music. I used footage is from various clips and a concert moment, interviews and film clips starting with a live performance "Eloise" French TV which was a live vocal performance, also a small bit from the original "Eloise" Video Clip, bits of "Magical Spiel" Top Of The Pops Live performance with his band Candy Choir , some footage from ZFD I believe around 1969 which also featured a video of "Eloise" with this and a bit from "The Colour of My Love" . I feel blessed having met this sunny talented singer and he and Paul will be remembered with love and affection by fans. I also want to say I remember you Barry, treasured memories live on in my heart , your light continues to shine in your music as does Paul's and in the hearts of the ones who loved you and still do. RIP

This is Barry Ryan with one of his single called "The Colour Of My Love " from 1969 written by Paul Ryan. #colourofmylove #barryryan #60smusic Please check out my channel dedicated to Barry Ryan which has 150 videos and many more to follow at @barryryan1948 / @barryryan1948 I created this video using screenshots and photos of Barry & Paul which I then added to my own photos of my adopted island home of Tasmania ( and 2 free stock photos and created montages for this song and this video was created and is being uploaded under the terms of Fair Use. No copyright infringement is intended as this is for personal use and for the memory Barry and Paul Ryan. I love photography , I first was modelling as a teenager and continued to do so but found I would rather be taking the photos than stand there and even though I continued to do part time modelling here and there when I finished college my first real my was as a photographic technician and I then learned also about photography. I take a lot of photos and never tire of the beauty of Tasmania and the different light we have here. One view is never the same as the light changes so much. For me the this song is pure nostalgia. Since today is also Gerry's and my wedding anniversary ( 35 years) I felt this was the perfect song choice to share for today. I love the sweet lyrics and also the feel of this song and it never fails to make me smile. Below I have added information about this song and the lyrics. I believe the best thing is to own the albums and singles and listen to them all in their best quality. I was blessed with meeting Barry (& Paul as well although I did not really talk much with Paul just some conversations here and there but I liked him a lot) and getting to know just what a lovely man he was . I was first introduced to Barry by my beloved Papi (father) who worked in the music industry and being able to go to all of his German TV Show Performances thanks to my Papi. He was a very cool father. Barry was someone special to so many people and I am glad that he is still loved by so many fans. This was shared in memory of my loved ones who are on cloud nine in heaven. Miss you all and love you. Shared in memory of Paul and Barry Ryan RIP Their music still makes me happy and smile. ============================================== "The Colour of My Love" is a song written by Paul Ryan. Two artists first released it as a single on the same day, 14 March 1969. A version by Jefferson became a top-30 hit in the UK as well as charting in the UK. The other, by Billy J. Kramer, was only released in the UK and failed to chart. Paul Ryan's brother Barry also recorded a version that was released as a single in several countries. Paul Ryan was not impressed with Jefferson's version, saying "quite frankly, I think it's a load of rubbish. The production is terrible. Jefferson's a nice bloke, but it's very upsetting to hear what someone has done to your song. It's like someone framing a picture you're proud of in a tatty frame". After hearing that version by Jefferson I 100% agree. Capitalising on the success of Barry Ryan's previous two singles "Eloise" and "Love Is Love" which were particularly successful in Europe, MGM released "The Colour of My Love" as a follow-up single from the album Barry Ryan Sings Paul Ryan. It was released in continental Europe, Scandinavia, South Africa and Rhodesia (Zimbabwe) with the B-side "My Mama", also written by Paul Ryan. Lyrics : Lyrics Her hair was the color of the sun Was the color of her eyes Was the color of my own true love Now hair was the color of the sun Was the color of her eyes Was the color of my only love Love maker make me a love song to sing I'm in the right, she is wrong and she knows (he's in love and it shows) I want her love but she won't let me in When I see her I think: who's fooling who? (she loves you too) Her hair was the color of the sun Was the color of her eyes Was the color of my only love Her hair was the color of the sun Was the color of her eyes Was the color of my only love Maybe there's someone else but I won't give in I'll play her game and I hope I don't lose (you'll be the one she would choose) Love maker make me a love song to sing She'll hear my song and I hope she'll be there (she knows you care) Her hair was the color of the sun Was the color of her eyes Was the color of my only love Her hair was the color of the sun Was the color of her eyes Was the color of my only love Her hair was the color of the sun Was the color of her eyes Was the color of my only love Her hair was the color of the sun Was the color of her eyes Was the color of my only love

My dearest Andrea, your English is wonderful and of course I can read this 😍😘, I am so glad you enjoyed this video and realize how blessed I am living in this beautiful part of the world and how lucky I am that we have the pademelons ( we have 3 babies at the moment who come to play and nibble the treats. They love the nasturtium ( I think it is called Kapuzinerkresse in German or Kapuziner, Janina gave me cuttings years and years ago from their wonderful garden and told me they are lovely to eat, love them as they taste peppery and fresh) we have growing in the side garden and the back ( which they cannot get to as we have these closed off with gates and fences as otherwise we would have no fresh salad left 😁) but I give them the leaves and some flowers every few evenings. With the warmer weather the windows are open and I hear them playing at night, they sound oh so cute. We love them so much. So lucky Gerry loves these animals all so much as well. Lots of love , your Tia 😘

Hello Tia. What a stunning view you have from your balcony. The birds certainly like to make their presence known. My best friend and her family visited Australia over Christmas 2017....jealous me, never 😏! She sent me a photo of her son with a brightly coloured lorikeet balanced on his fingers, munching away at what looks like a large nut. Absolutely beautiful. We're 🇬🇧 having a warm-ish snap in the weather at the moment, but how long that'll last is anyone's guess. Hope you and Gerry are both keeping well. K

Hi Katy, I feel very blessed with having such incredible wildlife. Our weather has been a touch strange as well, some perfect summer weather and then suddenly again rain and cool 18 C degrees. I saw that there had been snow in Germany but now when everyone would like snow for Christmas it has gone mild again. It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas Down Under and Gerry and I will be celebrating our wedding anniversary tomorrow on the 19th and it will be our 42 year anniversary of dating on that same day. Gerry was smart and chose that date for our wedding so we would not have to remember 2 anniversaries ;) but then he asked me to renew our vows 17 years ago which we did on the 17th of December so there are 2 anniversaries now. Gerry will start his summer vacation at Christmas so I will take off some time from making videos etc but have a lot ready to share so on my channel during that time including ones of The Verge ( which have been kindly remastered by Stefan ). Hope you are doing well, lots of love, Tia xx🎄
