When you spin the presser foot around, doesn’t is lock in with a click or is it possible to not be perfectly 180 degrees and not exactly sew back into the prior holes?
@followme8238Ай бұрын
So…maybe the plastic dip isn’t necessary, just glue on some sandpaper?

Hi I hope you are reading the comments. The link on eBay has two sizes of threads 69 and 92. Which one is correct? Also the needle size in metrics 130/21? Also multiple choices on Amazon. Thanks
@leathercraftertipsАй бұрын
Like to use size 92 it's a little thicker then 69. But 69 works too. The needle size really should be judged by the thread size. larger thread larger needle. Leather point needles work the best. If you google thread and needle size chart you should find what you need.

The easiest way to wind bobbins is to do what I do. I pay my neighbor $20 a piece to prewind them for me! Ok, just kidding. Before even watching this I had already drilled holes in all my bobbins. I have two of these time bandits. Each one is set up for a different thread and procedure. It saves me tons of time resetting up a machine. Now, if only I, or someone else could come up with a mod to make these things bobbinless, a Nobel peace prize might be in the works.

I believe he made a video of what he did to stop the thread from being cut. He did some sanding to some of the edges that would cut his thread. May have to look at some more of his videos or other videos like this one.

Could you add a bike chain and cassette onto the side of that wheel and accomplish the same thing, but with more consistency in every rotation of the motor, as opposed to just relying on friction and that clamp?

Is there anyway that you could show me in a video how you would sew up two ends together to make a complete circle / pipe or can that be done with that Sewing Machine ? The reason why I ask is the the sewing machine I have is to wide to take both ends and put them together and sew them together. Because it is only 21 cm in with and it is going around a air cylinder.

Hello. Perhaps you can help. I bought the Chinese shoe patch machine in October of 2022. I spent a month watching videos, etc. For some reason I could not get the machine to pick up the bobbin thread. So frustrated I put in the closet for a year. Pulled it out recently, and finally fixed the bobbin thread issue. Once the bobbin pickup worked, then I had an issue of the upper thread breaking. Watched some more videos, and did some intense sanding of all the bobbin parts. That stopped the breaking. Now, the thread is too loose. Before I just immediately tighten the bobbin spring, can you tell what would be causing the bottom thread to be too loose on my finished tests?
