UNESCO World Water Assessment Programme

UNESCO World Water Assessment Programme

The World Water Assessment Programme (WWAP) is an international centre of excellence led and administrated by UNESCO and generously funded by the Italian Government, together with the Umbria region, since 2006. WWAP was founded in the year 2000 under the auspices of UNESCO as an international programme aimed at the regular assessment of global freshwater resources. It also disseminates knowledge about emerging issues and challenges through a number of products, tools and activities. WWAP seeks to equip water managers and key decision-makers with information, data and skills necessary to effectively contribute to the development of relevant policies.
WWAP UNESCO coordinates the work of 31 United Nations agency members and of 37 partners of UN-Water in the annual production of the authoritative World Water Development Report (WWDR), the UN's flagship report on water.

Another excellent piece of animation by Steve Cutts. However, it failed to contrast meat and non-meat oriented diets. The difference in water usage is vast.

laurr21 Do you understand how nature works at least to common sense degree? It doesn't matter what form: milk, poop, piss. It's still water. Difference is concentration of these solutions. It doesn't disappear in nothingness or a black hole. Btw. Why you mentioned that cows consume a lot of water but didn't say this water comes out mostly as milk or piss. Which is basically solutions with high percentage of water.
