  I stayed there a few nights.. For sure rooms are outdated so are The pool area. The river is Nice but also noicy. Excellent straff.

  @@WanderlustReports On a fêté mon anniv au Sirocco ! C'était wow ! Mais j'aimerais pas séjourné dans l'hôtel. Il est trop grand. Le Shangri La est chouette, dommage que depuis la piscine la vue ne soit pas plus dégagée ( 😁 )

  Thank you very much! You should definitely enjoy it... If you feel like it, try the typical Thai restaurant called Jack's bar just by the Shangri-la wing entry, on the river.

  @@WanderlustReports thanks! We have stayed in the area a few times, at Center Point round the corner. We went into the Shangri La for Dim Sum Lunch, and loved the place. We will definitely check your recommendations. Palate Bar just opposite Robertsons mall is also very good.

  Nope! Muse, Continent and Mövenpick are officially 5-star hotels, D'tel is officially 4-star and Asai is 3-star.

  @@WanderlustReports Thank you for the link, that place is a little paradise. The first thing I look for is the pool, when choosing. I’ve seen allot of hotel designs that don’t consider the sun, maybe it’s not important to the Thai’s, it’s awkward in the city, I understand that.

  For hotels, Michelin has "houses", and up to 5. In France, now, we have 5-star hotel (there are 103 in Paris), and 5-star Palace hotels (only 12 in Paris). If the Shangri-La in Paris is definitely a Palace, I would say that the Shangri-La in Kuala Lumpur is "only" a 5-star.
