Awesome and honest video thank you ❤
Can you schedule it to unlock every day at 9am and to automatically lock at 8pm?
scam company, been like this for years! they finally are starting to get exposed for what they are… couldn’t afford the lease on their office building in jefferson valley so im sure its a matter of time with them….
I think most people are worried about is how easy is it for people to be able to access your house i believe we are just touching the surface of smart locks
I have these guys but I’m about to cancel them, we focus on commercial doors , hardware, storefronts and glass. If anyone has a suggestion pls let me know
Thanks for the video. I too bill RMR and know now to stay away from Chargebee!!
Good luck!
Thank you for watching! Have you had any issues with Chargebee? Care to recommend any other alternatives? Let us know here in the comments section!
Does the Command Access CAT FIeld Tester seem like a device that could help you? Are there any other tools or products you'd like to see Uriah and the GSL team review? Let us know here in the comments, and thanks for watching!
Blue book is just trash for any trade !
Hey you said it not me lol
It's crap lock.
You're basing that opinion on what exactly?
Someone else installed mine in the truck I have. Now with the time the ceiling is cracked and rusted.
Oh no that’s no good!
There is a video that shows you . The lock switch on inside is for at night a burglar can’t pick the lock . The outside the switch is if your outside working you don’t lock yourself out check out the you tube video for this lock
I had one and it worked great until it need a firmware update now it won’t connect to the app/phone and I have to use a code each time now. A lot of money for something that only works for a year or two. You can get a dozen good quality locks and extra keys for the price. Good idea but not very good support or device update support.
Oh man think I’ll stay with conventional key.
Can the guest make any changes or change other guests access???
We were on the BB blue book, when it was print it was great, We had a full page ad and paid a $1000 a month. But when it went online, it was garbage and overrated.
Thanks for watching! Do you use BOLT products? Let us know what you think, or any other ideas for products for Guardian Approved to tackle, here in the comments section!
Thanks for reviewing. I almost bought this product to test. Cool features, but that's more headache than I need at 4PM on a Friday 😂 Sucks it didn't work on a single door application. No way I am hogging out the customer's frame for a part with unproven reliability and durability. It was fun to watch your thought process. I would have burned the instructions 10 minutes in.
Would u recommend buying this rod or the blue rod
I am not a contractor. I am on the architecture/design side of the process and can confirm that from everything i see, Blue Book, Construction Journal, Construction Network sites are all businesses that absolutely make money only for themselves, not contractors by selling subscriptions to their site. Our company has no benefit from using the services but I am hit up at least once per week from a rep by one of those companies asking for information to "update their records" on our clients' projects. Essentially, a bidding GC will upload the project to the platform because they have been pulled into a subscription and they are looking for subs in territories they don't always work in. Then the online service picks up on the project and seeks out missing information by emailing or calling the architect, engineers, client, etc. They'll ask for the start date, end date, awarded GC, and sometimes the contract amount. I have occasionally even requested projects to be removed from their site but it is usually a waste of my time to do so. Most all my clients hire their GCs based on previous experience or trusted referrals and those GCs are good because they usually have their own network of subs. I am sure that the service can generate leads for sub contractors but in my experience, those cold calls/emails usually go no where. When I do receive some which have compassionate language with legitimate interest in being part of the project, I may pass things on but not often. Based on everything i see and learning of the outrageous pricing on these subscriptions, i would recommend most all contractors to use the money to establish relationships with both national and local GCs (or even architects) who will ask you for a bid in the future rather than chasing down leads from a construction network. Hope the comment may be able to help someone.
I used the Blue Book for a year, complete garbage. No leads what so ever. As a Security Integrator all project have "Security and alarms" listed. 99% of the project do not have Security. They refused to cancel my contract and started to ignot my emails and complaints.
Next time do a practice run lol
That’s the whole point no practice run, just straight raw reaction and experience. Lol
I'd Give them $1 bid until they're serious
What does it cost to download the app?
Free
CompX regulator lock is the only way to fly. I work in Advent health hospitals as the lead Locksmith we tried everything those are basically junk but for the price they’re shiny junk.😂

Instruction Are pretty easy to understand they come pretty much Pre-Assembled for you it doesn’t take that long to install them about an hour, 2 Tops!
Oh also I should mention I install these Pretty Much every other day! But I wouldn’t get anything really From American Vans!
can you manually unlock the door, with a key? can you manually lock and unlock the door with a key?
Yes
If anyone finds a service like this that works, let us know. Im im the Granite, Marble and Quartz Fabrication industry in the South East region.
I too have a blue book subscription but so far I’m having a not so good experience, I recently checked out their dodge construction network but not sure how it’s going yet. What would you recommend for any leads of trades?
What trade are you in?
@@GuardianApproved fence installation but we are focused more on commercial rather then residential simply because we are more experienced and are able to quickly complete projects
How fo you like the dodge construction network so far?@GuardianApproved
What did you think of the smallest fire-rated electric strike in the world? Do you consider Trine's 323478F-LC Kit to be effective? Let us know here in the comments, and thank you for watching!
"To all the companies that posted negative reviews about this company. Contact your Attorney General Office in your respective State or the Department of Home Consumer Affairs and advice them this this company refuses to stop taking money monthly off your account if they're not providing services to you as promised. Trust me it works. I had a similar situation and the company that was taking money off my account, they were targeted by both agencies and believe me they stop IMMEDIATELY, in fact, they refunded the 3 months I since told them to stop. You're not alone."
Hey thank you for watching we appreciate the support! Also great idea thank you for sharing!
I’m in a similar situation. They did not want to cancel my subscription so I switched card to a new one. I wasn’t getting any leads from them and wanted to stop it but they wouldn’t let me. Now they are threatening to sue me.
Their business model is such a scam to small business owners. It's rediculous. I found this comment recently on their google reviews. BTW, leave them a google review! www.google.com/search?q=blue+book+construiction&sxsrf=APwXEde-l-0WUDAgQR4ISZxKgfcru0R_4w%3A1684625883240&ei=21lpZOjPDdDk0PEPm-easAw&ved=0ahUKEwioqeW6iIX_AhVQMjQIHZuzBsYQ4dUDCBE&uact=5&oq=blue+book+construiction&gs_lcp=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&sclient=gws-wiz-serp
If the space you’re inserting the tool through is so narrow that the frame is scratching the coating off, then you are underwedging the door. While you should definitely not overinflate the air wedge and risk bending the frame, you need to create a gap wide enough that you can insert and maneuver your long reach without resistance. P.S. Personally, I recommend using the Flex Max tool (As it is thinner in diameter than the Quick Max which means you don’t have to wedge the frame as much.)
Great review.
Thanks! Please consider subscribing to one of our three KZread channels: Guardian Safe & Lock, Guardian Approved, and UDROpreneur…. We appreciate the support!
You might want the check what the @LockPickingLawyer said in video 1480 about this lock. I hope he does a follow-up on it.
I don't believe the lockpicking guy tested this version. With this version, you are using your existing lock and key
Is this the same facility they teach auto dealers, mechanics and hardware stores?
No this is a vendor that has a training academy for there trade that being the locksmith trade.
Can't wait to see the UDROprenuer video of the behind the scences trip out to Chicago, for Key Innovations.
Us too!
Great video!
Thank you for watching, and another huge thanks to J.B. Gates and the AKG Academy & Key Innovations team for having us out! Let us know what you thought of the video here in the comments section.
We are 3 hours into installing the same American Van ladder rack on a 2020 GMC Savana. Just like these guys said, instructions suck! No details on anything, my guys are having to guess about this and that. New Year’s weekend so they are closed, will be next year before we get any help it looks like.🥴
Hello I need some help level lock very slow upon getting back. Am doing a new door and door jam what’s the best bore drill to use for strike plate. You video was very helpful. Lee
The problem with it is "how can I change the combination without knowing the current combination"??? I am planning to install these for our staff locker. My concern would be if they leave and left me without the combination for the locker than I wouldn't be able to change the combination.
Thanks for helping me dodge that bullet. Guess I'll keep searching for ways to land some commercial or facilities contracts.
Yeah I wish it worked better because the concept is good but it’s not worth the investment in my opinion. Thx
What ways can i use to get commercial contracts any advice?
I thought these things were horrible garbage you can pull on them and they open right up which is the lightest force who needs a lock like that, rite
Well the lock isn’t the problem and the tailpiece is very strong but the cabinet doors are usually weak. They tailpieces on the combi-cam locks are stronger that’s most other camlocks. Thx for watching!
All right, let me be true I don’t know
Aren’t they junk?
Camlocks is general regardless of the brand are low security but these are better than most.
@@GuardianApproved I don’t know anything about that lock you’re right I wish I did. I probably should buy one on Amazon and give a full review of the LOCK It’s obvious I don’t know that particular little creature, but have run into tens of thousands of other locks of that nature but never that particular distinct model I must say after the course of 28 years of locksmithing it has all become obvious that in general most cam locks fail from The pull test in under 50 pounds of pressure they break, which is not acceptable in most environments, the cabinet door always holds up stronger than the tail piece or blade on those cam locks. That’s why we in general use electronic cabinet locks and I’ve seen the electronic CombCam lock and did a full review on that. Plastic creature you’ll have to check that out.
@@doorandlocktips will have to check those out, I haven’t seen those. Thx for watching
I swear to god. Thank you so much for making this video. I installed this lock myself. Thank you man. I swear thank you so much.
Wouldn't that "child safety" button effectively make the lock pick proof? For instance it doesn't matter if the lock is picked since the cylinder wont turn?
Yes
I've got one of those. Mine had a quarter moon style key that could not be duplicated, good they now offer schlage and kwikset. Anyone unfamiliar with this lock could be in real trouble during a fire.
Hi, question, where did you buy it from?
such a shame they do these videos and don't tell u how to get one
