  How does he get a bigger thrill out of his cars than helping the homeless, or an endangered species? I like Jay Leno but there is something missing in him. He has no kids, just giant warehouses of cars.

  yeah jay caught a lot of crap.. remember when he did the Doritos commercials? boy, they gave the man so much grief over this, for what, selling out? what nonsense, every comic out there would've done it. That must've been a huge payday. Personally his talk show wasn't really my cup of tea, i liked David Letterman, but his car show is really good, you can see he really enjoys cars.

  It's mainly just butthurt Conan stans that dislike Jay with fanatic passion. People forget how much Conan stunk on The Tonight Show and deserved to get booted. I'm a Conan fan, too, and I remember Conan being depressingly cringy after Late Night. Him going to TBS and finally being released from the pressure was the best thing that happened to him.

  I should add, Conan still had his moments on Tonight, but if you weren't there watching every night, witnessing every disastrous monologue, every watered-down skit, and every cookie-cutter guest, then you luckily never saw how bad it regularly was.
